Summary, etc. | Edible coatings are an alternative for reducing postharvest loss and increasing market life of fruits, thus retarding their deterioration. This investigation aimed to study influence of safe coating application of "Star light" grape with Alginate 2%, Aloe Vera gel (1:3) ratio with water , Ethanol-extracted propolis 4% and Grapefruit Seed extract 1% each alone or in combination between them as compared with Control vines (sprayed with water). All coating postharvest treatments were done as spray clusters at one day before harvest. The Sprayed clusters were cold stored up to 8weeks at 0 °C±1 and 90–95% R H followed by stored 12 days at 10 °C±1 and 90-95% R.H. as marketing life . Fruit quality was evaluated at harvest, during cold storage and during market life. Results showed that decay, weight loss, total soluble solids, total sugars and respiration rate increased whereas, firmness, berry adherence, total acidity, vitamin c and total phenols decreased by increasing storage and marketing periods. All coating treatments decreased decay, weight loss and delayed the physiochemical changes compared with control during storage periods. Also, the best results of 12 days market life obtained by all safe coating treatments. The study suggests that coating treatments might be a promising candidate as maintain Star light grapes with high quality for longer time in markets after storage for a certain period as meet international market exportations.<br/>The results showed that the least percentages of weight loss and decay were obvious in vines treated with Ethanol Propolis Extract 4%+ Aloe Vera gel (1:3) ratio with water, while the highest percentages were obvious with untreated vines. |

Summary, etc. | تعتبر الاغطيه الصالحة للأكل بديلاً لتقليل خسائر ما بعد الحصاد وزيادة العمر التسويقى للعنب ستارلايت ، وبالتالي تأخير تدهورها. يهدف هذا البحث إلى دراسة تأثير الاغلفه الامنه من الجينات الصوديوم 2٪ ، وجل الصبار (1: 3) مع الماء ، و مستخلص البروبوليس الكحولى 4٪ ، ومستخلص بذور الجريب فروت 1٪ كل على حدة أو مجتمعة بينها بالمقارنة مع اشجار المقارنه. تم إجراء جميع معاملات التغليف قبل الحصاد على شكل مجموعات رش في يوم واحد قبل الحصاد. تم تخزين العناقيد المرشوشة على تخزين مبرد حتى 8 أسابيع عند صفر درجة مئوية±1 و 90-95٪ رطوبة نسبية متبوعة بالتخزين لمدة 12 يومًا عند 10 درجات مئوية±1 و 90-95٪ رطوبة نسبية كعمر تسويقي. تم تقييم جودة الثمار عند الحصاد ، وأثناء التخزين المبرد وأثناء العمر التسويقى. أظهرت النتائج أن نسبه التالف ، وفقدان الوزن ، والمواد الصلبة الذائبة الكلية ، والسكريات الكلية ، ومعدل التنفس زادت ، بينما تناقصت الصلابة ، وقوة الشد، والحموضة الكلية ، وفيتامين ج ، والفينولات الكلية بزيادة فترات التخزين والتسويق. أدت جميع معاملات التغليف إلى تقليل نسبه التالف وفقدان الوزن وتأخير التغيرات الفيزيوكيميائية مقارنة بالثمار الغير معامله خلال فترات التخزين. أيضًا ، تم الحصول على أفضل النتائج لمدة 12 يومًا في العمر التسويقى من خلال جميع معالجات التغليف الآمنة. تشير الدراسة إلى أن معالجات التغليف قد تكون بديلا واعدًا مثل الحفاظ على عنب ستار لايت بجودة عالية لفترة أطول في الأسواق بعد التخزين لفترة معينة لتلبية صادرات السوق الدولية. |
