Summary, etc. The research emphasizes the importance of kinetic shade in improving energy production <br/>and natural lighting conditions. In Egypt, using a window wall ratio of 90% for the <br/>administration hypothetical room eastern and western facades may cause excessive heat <br/>gains and increase cooling loads. For more than 20,000 trails, the study used parametric <br/>analysis Diva for Rhino as a simulation tool to evaluate the system based on daylight <br/>autonomy, annual sunlight exposure, daylight availability, and total energy consumption. <br/>The study concluded that kinetic shade can be an effective daylighting system to improve <br/>lighting environments without negatively affecting energy consumption. Findings <br/>recommend developing a parametric design for the kinetic shade and light shelf and <br/>suggesting criteria for optimum visual comfort. Establishing criteria and guidelines for <br/>various types of kinetic shades ensures a well-informed decision, as the effectiveness of <br/>kinetic shades depends on factors such as building's orientation, sun movement, and <br/>occupant needs.
