| Summary, etc. | سعت الدراسة لمحاولة معرفة أهم محددات الصراعات الداخلية المُسلَّحة في النظم السياسية العربية خلال الفترة من عام 1971 إلى عام 2020، وقد اتضح من خلال الدراسة أنه لا يوجد عامل أو متغير واحد يُمكِنه تفسير تلك الظاهرة في النظم العربية؛ حيث بدا أن هذه الظاهرة نتاجٌ لتفاعُل جملة من المتغيرات، وهو ما يؤكد على السمة المُعقدة للظاهرة. وقد أظهرت نتائج الانحدار اللوجستي بأن احتمالية حدوث صراعات داخلية مُسلحة في النظم العربية تزداد مع وجود تفاوت في توزيع الدخول واستقطاب طائفي لاسيما إذا كان النظام يمر بمرحلة من عدم الاستقرار أو التحول الديمقراطي، ويُتوقع أن تُعزز التضاريس الوعرة من فرص حدوث صراعات داخلية مُسلحة. من جهة أخرى، يُرجح أن تتراجع احتمالية حدوث صراعات مُسلحة في النظم العربية كلما ارتفع نصيب الفرد من الناتج المحلي الإجمالي |

| Summary, etc. | The study aimed to understand the main determinants of internal armed conflicts in Arab political systems during the period from 1971 to 2020. It became clear through the study that there is no single factor or variable that can explain this phenomenon in Arab systems. It appears that this phenomenon is a result of the interaction of multiple variables, which confirms the complex nature of the phenomenon. The logistic regression results showed that the probability of internal armed conflicts in Arab systems increases with the presence of income inequality and sectarian polarization, especially during periods of instability or democratic transition. It is expected that rugged terrains will enhance the chances of internal armed conflicts. On the other hand, the possibility of armed conflicts in Arab systems is expected to decrease as GDP per capita increases. |
