| Summary, etc. | This thesis proposed a new family of distributions named as T-inverse exponential(T −IE)family of distributions, from which many sub-families were obtained. Several distributions from the new family have also been proposed. The proposed new distributions are valid for complete and censored sample. The properties of these distributions were also studied, such as the mode, quantile function, median, hazard function, survival function, moments,<br/>order statistics and Shannon’s entropy. Estimates of the parameters of the proposed distributions were obtained using the maximum likelihood method. The usefulness of these new distributions in data analysis was demonstrated using a real data sets. A simulation study was conducted to evaluate the performance of the Weibull-inverse exponential[loglogistic] distribution.<br/><br/> |

| Summary, etc. | اهتم الإحصائيون بتقديم عائلات ومن ثم توزيعات جديدة تناسب التطبيقات المتعددة في جميع الحقول العلمية مثل الطب والهندسة والزراعة والتجارة...الخ.<br/>وفي هذة الرسالة تم اقتراح عائلة توزيع جديدة تسمي عائلة inverse exponential-T ومنها تم الحصول على العديد من العائلات الفرعية. كما تم اقتراح عدة توزيعات من عائلة التوزيع الجديدة . وتصلح التوزيعات الجديدة المقترحة في تطبيقات حالة العينة الكاملة والمراقبة. كما تم دراسة بعض خصائص هذه التوزيعات مثل المنوال و دالة quantile و الوسيط ودالة الخطر ودالة البقاء والعزوم وإحصاءات الترتيب وانتروبيا شانون . وتم الحصول على تقديرات معالم التوزيعات المقترحة باستخدام طريقة الإمكان الأعظم. وتم توضيح فائدة هذه التوزيعات الجديدة في تحليل البيانات باستخدام مجموعة بيانات حقيقية. وتم اجراء دراسة محاكاة لتقييم أداء توزيع Weibull-inverse exponential[loglogistic].<br/> |
