| Summary, etc. | Fetal macrosomia is a term used when a fetus is larger than expected for gestational age, and is usually defined by an absolute weight (for example an estimated fetal weight of more than 3500g at 36 weeks) or in relation to centiles (for example, an estimated fetal weight above the 95th percentile at or after 36 weeks of gestation and the aim of the present study was to assess the mode of delivery in pregnancies considered to be at high risk of developing fetal macrosomia through a comparison between early induction of labour between 38+4-39+4 weeks versus expectant management (induction of labor between 41+2-4) weeks . <br/>We recruited 72 women in the study which was conducted through maternity hospital Cairo University , and induction of labor proposed and scheduled between 38+4 till 39+4 in group 1versus Induction of labor proposed and scheduled between 41+2-4 days in group 2, and it showed that 26 women had successful vaginal deliveries and 46 women underwent caesarean deliveries.There was no significant difference between both groups regarding mode of delivery , maternal complication and neonatal complication. |

| Summary, etc. | يتم تعريف زيادة وزن الجنين على أنها وزن عند الولادة أكبر من 4000 جرام أو أكبر من النسبة المئوية التسعين وفقًا للتصنيف الدولي للأمراض <br/>زيادة وزن الجنين هو مصطلح يستخدم عندما يكون الجنين أكبر من المتوقع بالنسبة لعمر الحمل، وعادة ما يتم تعريفه بالوزن المطلق (على سبيل المثال وزن الجنين المقدر بأكثر من 3500 جرام في الأسبوع السادس والثلاثين) أو بالنسبة إلى المئويات (على سبيل المثال، وزن الجنين المقدر فوق ن 95 %عند أو بعد 36 أسبوعًا من الحمل .<br/>اقترح نظام الدرجات المستخدم في اتخاذ القرار فيما يتعلق بطريقة الولادة: الدرجة الأولى 4000-4499 جم، الدرجة الثانية 4500 إلى 4999 جم واالدرجة الثالثة اكثر من 5000 جم للرضع .<br/>على الصعيد العالمي، تؤثر زيادة وزن الجنين على 12% من حالات الحمل الطبيعي و15%-45% من الأمهات المصابات بسكري الحمل .<br/>زيادة وزن الجنين هي حالة ترتبط بزيادة خطر حدوث مضاعفات للأمهات والأطفال حديثي الولادة. تشمل مضاعفات الأمهات ما يلي: العملية القيصرية الطارئة بسبب توقف تقدم الولادة، ونزيف ما بعد الولادة، والتمزقات العجانية من الدرجة الثالثة والرابعة، والمعروفة مجتمعة باسم إصابات العضلة العاصرة الشرجية .<br/>قد تشمل المضاعفات عسر ولادة الكتف، وشلل الضفيرة العضدية، وكسور الترقوة وعظم العضد، وكسور عظام الجمجمة، والورم الدموي تحت الجافية في حالة الولادة المتعسرة في منتصف الحوض، والاختناق في الفترة المحيطة بالولادة، والوفاة في الفترة المحيطة بالولادة. على الرغم من التأثير السريري والاجتماعي لهذه المضاعفات، لا توجد مبادئ توجيهية أو توصيات مشتركة. |
