| Summary, etc. | Background: Plantar fasciitis (PF) is a degenerative syndrome of the plantar fascia resulting from repeated trauma at its origin on the calcaneus that causes heel pain and disability. Purpose: to compare between integrated neuromuscular inhibition technique (INIT)and instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM) in treatment of patients with chronic PF. Methods: fifty-four subjects from both sexes with age ranged from 40-60 years old assigned randomly into 3 groups. Group (A): received conventional treatment of PF. Group (B): received convential treatment and INIT. Group(c): received conventional treatment and IASTM. Each group received 4weeks treatment 3 sessions per week. Pain intensity level, pain pressure threshold (PPT), active ankle dorsiflexion ROM, and foot functional disability level were measured using visual analogue scale, pressure algometer, digital goniometer, and Arabic version of foot disability index respectively. Results: there was a significant difference decrease in mean value of pain, increase in mean value of pressure pain threshold (PPT), increase in mean value of ankle dorsiflexion and decrease in mean value of foot function index(FFI) within the three groups. Post hoc test conducted between groups reveled a favor of INIT group program (Group B) followed by IASTM group program (Group C) in all variables. Conclusion: convential treatment, INIT, and IASTM were effective to decrease pain, increase PPT, increase dorsiflexion ROM and decrease score of FFI with the superiorly of INIT group program (Group B) followed by IASTM group program (Group C). |

| Summary, etc. | الخلفية: التهاب اللفافة الأخمصيه هو متلازمة تنكسية لللفافة الأخمصية ناتجة عن الصدمة المتكررة في منشأها على العقبي والتي تسبب ألم الكعب والإعاقة. الغرض: المقارنة بين تقنية التثبيط العصبي العضلي المتكامل وتحريك الأنسجة الرخوة باستخدام الأدوات عند مرضي التهاب اللفافه الاخمصية المزمن. طرق البحث: تم تقسييم اربعة وخمسون شخصا من كلا الجنسين تتراوح أعمارهم بين 40-60 سنة عشوائيا إلى ثلاثة مجموعات. المجموعة (أ): تلقت العلاج التقليدي لمرض التهاب اللفافه الاخمصيه .المجموعة (ب): تلقت العلاج التقليدي و تقنية التثبيط العصبي العضلي المتكامل. المجموعة (ج): تلقت العلاج التقليدي وتحريك الأنسجة الرخوة باستخدام الأدوات. تلقت كل مجموعة العلاج لمدة 4 أسابيع 3 جلسات في الأسبوع. تم قياس مستوى شدة الألم، ومستوى الألم، وعطف ظهري الكاحل النشط، ومستوى الإعاقة الوظيفية للقدم باستخدام المقياس التناظري البصري، ومقياس الضغط، ومقياس الجونيوميتر الرقمي، والنسخة العربية من مؤشر إعاقة القدم على التوالي. النتائج: كان هناك انخفاض كبير في متوسط شدة الألم، وزيادة في متوسط مستوى الألم ، وزيادة في متوسط قيمة عطف ظهري الكاحل وانخفاض في متوسط قيمة مؤشر وظيفة القدم ضمن ثلاث مجموعات. أظهر الاختبار اللاحق الذي تم إجراؤه بين المجموعات تفضيل برنامج مجموعة تقنية التثبيط العصبي العضلي المتكامل (المجموعة ب) يليه برنامج مجموعة وتحريك الأنسجة الرخوة باستخدام الأدوات (المجموعة ج) في جميع المتغيرات. الاستنتاج: كان العلاج التقليدي، تقنية التثبيط العصبي العضلي المتكامل وتحريك الأنسجة الرخوة باستخدام الأدوات فعالاً في تقليل الألم، وزيادة شدة الالم، وزيادة عطف ظهري الكاحل النشط وتقليل درجة الإعاقة الوظيفية للقدم مع تفوق برنامج مجموعة تقنية التثبيط العصبي العضلي المتكامل المجموعة (ب) يليه برنامج مجموعة تحريك الأنسجة الرخوة باستخدام الأدوات المجموعه(ج). |
