Summary, etc. | Aim: The aim of this study is to assess the restoration of orbital volume related to orbital floor fractures to provide insight into the implant selection and application in the restoring globe position and prevention of long-term enophthalmous.<br/> Methods: this work was done between (March 2022 to Jan 20224), a total of 32 participants with recent unilateral orbital Floor fracture were randomly assigned to 2 equal parallel groups; 16 patients treated using Guided Calvarial Graft (control group) and 16 patients were treated by using patient-specific titanium Implant (PSI) (intervention group). Orbital volume, Clinical and radiographic evaluation of enophthalmous, surgery duration and Gaze persistent evaluation were done. <br/>Result: The study shows no differences between both groups regarding Restoration of Orbital Volume(OV) (P-value > 0.05), Clinical exophthalmometry (enophthalmous) correction (P-value > 0.05), and high statistical significant in Radiographic Exophthalmometry (P-value < 0.05) and in measuring Operating time (P-value < 0.05), with superior results in Gaze Persistence favoring PSI.<br/>Conclusion: Both techniques offer revolution in orbital Floor fracture reconstruction, and show superior results in comparison to the conventional method of intra-operative free-hand orbital mesh bending, however, PSI can reduce the need for intra-operative implant modifications and thereby shorter the surgery duration. |

Summary, etc. | مقابل طعم القبة القحفي الموجه بالكومبيوتر في إعادة بناء حاالت الكسر الخاصة بعظام قاع العين األحادي الجانب.<br/>أجريت الدراسة الحالية على 32 مشاركا بالغ ا. 24 ذكور و8 إناث. تم اختيار المرضى من خالل العيادات الخارجية في أقسام جراحة الفم والوجه والفكين بكلية طب األسنان، جامعة القاهرة، مصر.<br/>تم تقسيم هؤالء المشاركين بشكل عشوائي إلى مجموعتين؛ المجموعة األولى حيث عولج المشاركون في مجموعة المقارنة باستخدام طعم قبة قحفي موجه بالكومبيوتر، وعولج المشاركون في مجموعة الدراسة باستخدام شبكة من التيتانيوم مطبوعة ثالثيا خصيصا للمريض.<br/><br/>تمت مالحظة النتائج السريرية والشعاعية وتحليلها واإلبالغ عنها بعناية في فترات متابعة مختلفة )ثالثة أيام، أسبوع ثالث أشهر وستة أشهر بعد الجراحة(<br/>أظهرت الدراسة عدم وجود فروق بين المجموعتين فيما يتعلق بتصحيح حجم التجويف المداري للعين، التصحيح السريري والشعاعي لسقوط العين للداخل، مع نتائج متفوقة لتقليل مدة ووقت التدخل الجراحي لصالح مجموعة الدراسة. |
