Summary, etc. This thesis presents the development of supercapacitor (SC) fabrication and its application in a microgrid system. The SC is made using materials like molybdenum sulfide and reduced graphene oxide, with suitable electrolytes to enhance energy density. The SC is integrated into a DC microgrid with photovoltaic, proton exchange membrane fuel cell, and battery systems to reduce battery stress. A filter-based control strategy with proportional-integral (PI) control manages power distribution. Proposed metaheuristic optimization techniques are used to tune the whole PI controller parameters. Results show the control strategy prioritizes the SC during transients, reducing deep battery charge/discharge cycles.

PI تظهر النتائج أن استراتيجية التحكم تعطي الأولوية للمكثف الفائق أثناء التحولات، مما يقلل من دورات الشحن والتفريغ العميقة للبطارية.
