Summary, etc. | Because tuberose (Polianthes tuberosa L.) plant is one of the most beautiful flowering plant, occupies a very selective and front position among the other ornamental bulbous plants due to its serene beauty of the spikes, bright the snow white flowers and delicacy of fragrance. A pot experiment was conducted under the full sun at the nursery of Hort. Res. Inst. ARC, Giza, Egypt during 2020 and 2021 seasons to produce a flowering-pot plant suitable for beautifying the open roof, terraces, verandah and any other limited-area places during autumn months, as well to study the response of this commercial-valued plant to planting in different growing mixtures: sand/clay, sand/organic compost and clay/ organic compost at equal volumetric ratio (1:1, v/v), treating with different fertilization treatments: no fertilization (control), 2g/l Kristalon as a compound chemical fertilizer (A), 5 ml/l actosol as a liquid organic fertilizer (B), 5 g/l active dry yeast extract as a biofertilizer and the three twin fertilization treatments of A + B, A + C and B + C, all of them as foliar spray, 7 times with 2 weeks interval during the active growing seasons. The interaction effects between the 3 growing mixtures and the 7 fertilization treatments were also studied in a factorial experiment based on a complete randomized design, replicated thrice. According to the previous gains, it can be recommended to plant tuberose (Polianthes tuberosa L.) bulbs (clumps) in sand + organic compost mixture (1:1, by volume) and fertilizing them with 2g/l Kristalon as a foliar spray, standalone or combined with either 5 ml/l actosol or 5 g /l active dry yeast to get a picturesque, ideal flowering-pot-plant suitable for decoration of the limited-area sunny places during autumn months |

Summary, etc. | لأن نبات الزنبق (Polianthes tuberosa L.) هو واحد من أجمل النباتات المزهرة، يحتل مكانة مميزة ومقدمة بين النباتات الزهرية الأخرى بسبب جمال سنابله الهادئ، وزهوره البيضاء الناصعة ورائحته العطرة. تم إجراء تجربة في الأصص تحت الشمس الكاملة في مشتل معهد بحوث البساتين، مركز البحوث الزراعية، الجيزة، مصر خلال موسمي 2020 و2021 لإنتاج نبات مزهر في الأواني مناسب لتجميل الأسطح المفتوحة، الشرفات، البلكونات وأي أماكن ذات مساحة محدودة خلال أشهر الخريف، وكذلك لدراسة استجابة هذا النبات ذو القيمة التجارية للزراعة في خلطات نمو مختلفة: رمل/طين، رمل/سماد عضوي وطين/سماد عضوي بنسبة حجمية متساوية (1:1، حجم/حجم)، مع معالجة بطرق تسميد مختلفة: بدون تسميد (كنترول)، 2 جم/لتر Kristalon كسماد كيميائي مركب (A)، 5 مل/لتر Actosol كسماد عضوي سائل (B) ، 5 جم/لتر مستخلص خميرة جافة نشطة كسماد حيوي وثلاثة معالجات تسميد مزدوجة من A + B ، A + C و B + C جميعها كرذاذ ورقي، 7 مرات بفاصل أسبوعين خلال مواسم النمو النشطة. كما تم دراسة تأثيرات التفاعل بين خلطات النمو الثلاثة وطرق التسميد السبعة في تجربة عاملية بناءً على تصميم عشوائي كامل، مكرر ثلاث مرات. وفقًا للنتائج السابقة، يمكن التوصية بزراعة بصيلات الزنبق (Polianthes tuberosa L.) في خليط من الرمل + السماد العضوي (1:1، بالحجم) وتسميدها بـ 2 جم/لتر Kristalon كرذاذ ورقي، بمفرده أو مع إما 5 مل/لتر Actosol أو 5 جم/لتر مستخلص خميرة جافة نشطة للحصول على نبات مزهر مثالي مناسب لتزيين الأماكن المشمسة ذات المساحة المحدودة خلال أشهر الخريف. |
