| Summary, etc. | The use of drones (UAVs) has increased across industries, leading to more malicious activities targeting UAV networks, creating a need for effective Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS). This thesis proposes an IDS model using a Recurrent Neural Network (RNN) with Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) to detect network anomalies. The model addresses issues like class imbalance and high-dimensional data through pre-processing techniques such as SMOTE, one-hot encoding, and min-max scaling. Evaluated with the CICIDS2017 dataset, the model achieved 99.85% accuracy, 99.85% F1-score, 99.99% precision, and 99.70% recall, outperforming Naïve Bayes and other protocols in accuracy and False Positive rate.<br/><br/><br/> |
