Fifty-two CMLBP, whose mean age was 25 years, were assigned into 2 equal groups randomly. Group (A) received exercises (hamstring stretching, lower back stretching, abdominal strengthening, and trunk extensor strengthening). Group (B) received the same exercises plus the thoracic lymphatic pump technique. Both groups received twelve sessions on nonconsecutive days. All patients were evaluated using the Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) for pain intensity, the Modified-Modified Schober test (MMST) for lumbar spine mobility (flexion-extension), and the Oswestry Disability Index (ODI) for functional disability level. Assessments were performed prior to and after the end of treatment. For data analysis, the unpaired t-test, chi-squared test, and mixed MANOVA test were used. For CMLBP patients, adding TLPT to therapeutic exercises improves pain intensity, lumbar spine mobility, and functional disability level more effectively than therapeutic exercises alone. أجريت هذه الرسالة على اثنان وخمسين مريض يعانون من ألم أسفل الظهر الميكانيكي المزمن ولقد تراوحت أعمارهن من 20-45 عاما، تم اختيارهن من العيادة الخارجية لمستشفى بولاق الدكرور العام. تم تقسيمهم الى مجموعتين متساويتين بشكل عشوائي، المجموعة الأولى(أ) تلقت تمارين استطالة-تمارين تقوية العضلات، المجموعة الثانية (أ) تلقت نفس التمارين ثم تقنية المضخة الليمفاوية الصدرية لمدة اثنتا عشرة جلسة غير متتالية وقد خضعت كلا المجموعتين لاختبارات التقييم لمنطقة أسفل الظهر، ونطاق التناظرية البصرية لقياس شدة الألم وقياس مدى الحركة القطنية وأوسوستيرى اختبار العجز الوظيفي لقياس العجز الوظيفي. وقد تم التقييم قبل وبعد انتهاء البرنامج العلاجي، بالنسبة لمرضى الام أسفل الظهر الميكانيكي المزمن , إضافة تقنية المضخة الليمفاوية الصدرية للتمارين العلاجية تؤدى الى تحسن في شدة الألم و الحركة القطنية والعجز الوظيفي عن التمارين العلاجية فقط. |
