| Summary, etc. | Seventy-five elderly men and women, their ages ranged from 65 to 75 years, and their body mass index ranged from 25-29.9 kg/m². They were randomly selected from Dar Al-Safa in Cairo after they were referred by the treating physician. They were randomly divided into three groups (A, B, and C). Study group (A) consisted of 25 elderly (11 men and 14 women), all of whom received Otago exercises in addition to traditional balance exercises at a rate of 3 sessions per week, 70 minutes per session, for 12 consecutive weeks. Study Group B consisted of 25 elderly (12 men and 13 women), all of whom received Tai Chi exercises in addition to traditional balance exercises at a rate of 3 sessions per week, 60 minutes per session, for 12 consecutive weeks, Control group (C) consisted of 25 elderly (11 men and 14 women), all of whom received only traditional balance exercises at a rate of 3 sessions per week, 30 minutes per session, for 12 consecutive weeks. Assessment: Portable Handheld dynamometer, sit to stand test for thirty seconds, timed up and go test. The study also showed a significant decrease in the time taken for the timed-up and go test, as the results in group (A): 19%, while groups (B and C) did not show a significant increase. |

| Summary, etc. | تم اختيار عشوائيا 80 من الذكور الذين تتراوح أعمارهم بين 60-70 سنة مع التهاب وتر العضلة ثنائية الرأس الذراعية وتم تقسمها إلى أربع مجموعات ، مجموعة التمارين، مجموعة الليزر ، مجموعة شريط الكينيزيو و مجموعة الموجات التصاديمة. خضعت كل مجموعة لبروتوكول علاجي محدد على مدى 8 أسابيع. شملت مقاييس النتائج مقياس التناظري البصري للألم، وقوة قبضة اليد، ونطاق حركة الكتف ، وتم تقييمها قبل وبعد العلاج باستخدام التصوير بالموجات فوق الصوتية للجهاز العضلي الهيكلي، ومقياس الدينامومتر، ومقياس الجنيوميتر ، واستبيان جودة الحياة. وشملت التحليلات الإحصائية تحليل التباين ، واختبار مانوفا المختلط مع تصحيحات بونفيروني وجميع طرق العلاج (التمارين العلاجية، الليزر منخفض الشدة و الموجات التصادمية و شريط الكينيزيو) حسنت بشكل فعال مستويات الألم، وقوة قبضة اليد، و مدى الحركة في كتف مرضى السكري المسنين الذين يعانون من التهاب اوتار العضلة ذات الرأسين الذراعية. ومع ذلك، أظهرت مجموعة الليزر والتمرين نتائج متفوقة في تقليل الألم، في حين أظهر الليزر منخفض الشدة أهم التحسينات في مدى حركة الكتف. تدعم هذه النتائج تكامل طرق إعادة التأهيل المحددة المصممة خصيصًا لتلبية احتياجات المرضى الفردية في علاج المضاعفات العضلية الهيكلية لمرض السكري، وهناك ما يبرر إجراء مزيد من البحوث للتحقق من صحة هذه النتائج وتحسين استراتيجيات العلاج لمرضى السكري الذين يعانون من اضطرابات العضلات والعظام والمفاصل.<br/> |
