| Summary, etc. | The aim of this study was to assess the final implant stability, marginal bone loss and <br/>peri-implant bone density after implant placement in sockets preserved using two different <br/>socket preservation materials. <br/>Methods: this work was done between (October 2021 to December 2023), a total of 24 <br/>Patients with Salama class 3 defective maxillary sockets preserved with alendronic acid gel <br/>and sticky bone (two equal groups); 12 patients treated with delayed implant placement in <br/>defective Sockets after preservation with alendronic acid gel (Intervention group), and 12 <br/>Implant placement in defective sockets preserved with sticky bone (Control group). Final <br/>Stability, marginal bone loss and density of Bone Around implants were measured. <br/>Result: The study shows no differences between both groups regarding Implant Final <br/>Stability (P-value > 0.05), Marginal Bone Loss (P-value > 0.05), and bone density around <br/>dental implants (P-value > 0.05). <br/>Conclusion: Sockets preserved with Sodium Alendronate was comparable to the gold standard <br/>treatment of Sticky Bone Augmentation (Autogenous Bone) showed no significant difference in <br/>Final Implant Stability and with no significant difference between both groups regarding bone <br/>density and marginal bone loss around Implant, Using Sodium Alendronate in defective sockets <br/>can enhance Osseo-integration around dental implants with lower donor site morbidity, less <br/>technique sensitive and more economic for patients than sticky bone augmentations. |

| Summary, etc. | أجريت هذه الدراسة لتقييم الاختلافات بين التجويف المحفوظ مع أليندرونات الصوديوم على الحفظ مع عظم ستيكي في مآخذ الجر المعيبة. أجريت هذه الدراسة على 24 مشاركا بالغا. 13 ذكر و11 أنثى. تم اختيار المريض من خلال العيادات الخارجية في أقسام جراحة الفم والوجه والفكين بكلية طب الأسنان، جامعة القاهرة. جمهورية مصر العربية.<br/>تم تقسيم هؤلاء المشاركين بشكل عشوائي إلى مجموعتين؛ تمت معالجة المشاركين في المجموعة الضابطة باستخدام الغرسات السنية في تجاويف محفوظة بالعظم اللزج، وتم علاج المشاركين في مجموعة التدخل بوضع الغرسات السنية في تجاويف محفوظة بجل أليندرونات الصوديوم.<br/>تمت ملاحظة الثبات النهائي للغرسة وفقدان العظام الهامشية وكثافة العظام حول الغرسات، وتحليلها والإبلاغ عنها بعناية على فترات متابعة مختلفة (يوم واحد و3 أشهر بعد العملية الجراحية).<br/>تظهر الدراسة عدم وجود فروق بين المجموعتين فيما يتعلق باستقرار الزرع النهائي، وفقدان العظام الهامشية وكثافة العظام حول الزرع لصالح مجموعة التدخل. |
