| Summary, etc. | In the current work, laser system (266-nm) was designed, implemented and compared with existing technology with ArF excimer laser (193-nm). For system evaluation, different pulse energies were applied with the same number of shoots to ex-vivo rabbit corneas and the histological effect was investigated and also electron microscope study. Additionally, the DNA was evaluated using the Comet test. Also thermal camera investigated the thermal effect on the cornea as well as Fourier transform infrared (FTIR). Moreover, we employed 3D mathematical model. Finally, results showed it can be alternative to (193-nm) |
