| Summary, etc. | For social needs, Nowadays, open spaces at the ground storey in high-rise buildings <br/>became an important feature for many uses like vehicle parking, reception lobbies, or <br/>retail shopping, etc. These buildings are often called soft-storey buildings. Soft-storey <br/>buildings have a specific storey’s much less stiffness than the storey above. During an <br/>earthquake, if abnormal inter-storey drifts between adjacent stories occur, the lateral <br/>forces cannot be well distributed along the height of the structure. This situation causes <br/>the lateral forces to concentrate on the story having large displacement. In this study, <br/>FEM program was used. Besides, many factors have studied the behavior of building with <br/>soft storey such as height of the soft storey with changing column size, adding shear <br/>walls, changing the aspect ratio, the existence of infill wall. The results show the <br/>importance of highlighting this issue to improve seismic resistance and avoid any cracks <br/>or collapse during earthquake. |

| Summary, etc. | أصبحت المساحات المفتوحة في الطابق الأرضي في المباني الشاهقة ميزة مهمة للعديد من الاستخدامات مثل مواقف السيارات أو المحلات التجارية، وغالبًا ما تسمى هذه المباني بالمباني ذات الطوابق اللينة. تتميز المباني ذات الطوابق اللينة بصلابة طابق معين أقل بكثير من الطابق الذي فوقه بسبب المساحة المفتوحة الكبيرة أو ارتفاع الأرضية مقارنة بالطوابق اللاحقة مما يؤدي إلى انهيار المباني أثناء الزلازل. أثناء الزلزال، في حالة حدوث انجرافات غير طبيعية بين الطوابق بين الطوابق المجاورة، لا يمكن توزيع القوى الجانبية بشكل جيد على طول ارتفاع الهيكل. يؤدي هذا الموقف إلى تركيز القوى الجانبية على القصة ذات الإزاحة الكبيرة. تم في هذه الدراسة استخدام برنامج FEM. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، تمت دراسة سلوك البناء ذو الطوابق اللينة مثل ارتفاع الطابق اللين مع تغير حجم الأعمدة، وإضافة حوائط القص، ووجود جدران المبانى. ومن الناحية التحليلية أظهرت النتائج أهمية تسليط الضوء على هذه المسألة لتحسين المقاومة الزلزالية وتجنب حدوث أي تشققات أو انهيارات تدريجية أثناء الزلزال. |
