Summary, etc. Aim: The aim of this in vitro study was to compare XP-endo shaper, XP-endo finisher, and Passive Ultrasonic Irrigation sealer removability of two root canal sealers (resin and bioceramic based) in internal root resorption simulated teeth<br/>Methodology: 132 extracted human mandibular premolars were prepared and split, artificial cavities were placed on both teeth segments 5 mm from root apex then teeth segments were brought back together and fixed in epoxy resin model. Models were randomly assigned to six groups (n=22) according to the root canal filling and retreatment protocol. Group 1: (filled with GP + BC sealer and retreated using XP-endo Finisher). Group 2: (filled with GP + Resin sealer and retreated using XP-endo Finisher). Group 3: (filled with GP + BC sealer and retreated using XP-endo Shaper). Group 4: (filled with GP + Resin sealer and retreated using XP-endo Shaper). Group 5: (filled with GP + BC sealer and retreated using PUI). Group 6: (filled with GP + Resin sealer and retreated using PUI). Samples were incubated for 4 weeks then teeth were extracted from epoxy model and split again to evaluate sealer removability under digital light microscope<br/>Results: There was a significant difference between the 6 groups in the sealer removability Van der Sluis score (p = 0.013). Group 5 showed the highest Van der Sluis score followed by groups 1, 2, 4 and 6 with no significant difference between them. Group 3 showed a significantly lower Van der Sluis score than group 5. There was no significant difference between group 3 and groups 1, 2, 4 and 6 in the Van der Sluis score.<br/>vii<br/>Conclusion: No treatment protocol was able to eliminate all sealer remnant effectively. Resin based sealer showed no significant difference when compared to Bioceramic based sealer when it comes to sealer removability, except for passive ultrasonic activation which has failed to remove Bioceramic remnants compared to XP-endo shaper.<br/><br/><br/><br/>

Summary, etc. يتمثل هدف إعادة علاج الجذور بإزالة حشو الجذور السابق بشكل كامل لنتمكن من تعقيم الجذور وتخفيض عدد البكتيريا<br/>داخل الجذر, والتي تكون عادة السبب الرئيسي لفشل العلاج. ولكن في بعض حالات عدم انتظام شكل الجذر نواجه تعقيدات في مسألة<br/>إعادة العلاج. هذه الدراسة تقي م إزالة نوعين من الإسمنت ) Bioceramic-based and resin-based ( باستخدام ثلاثة طرق مختلفة<br/>(XP-endo Finisher, XP-endo Shaper and Passive Ultrasonic Irrigation.)<br/>132 ضاحك سفلي وحيد الجذر تم اختياره لهذه الدراسة, كل الأسنان تم قطعها لنصل لطول موحد 18 ملم, ثم قمنا بعلاج<br/>الجذور, قمنا بعد ذلك قمنا بقص السن لنصنع حفر داخل جذرية تحاكي امتصاص الجذر الداخلي, لنعيد بعد ذلك الصاق السن تبعا<br/>لطريقة Topçuoğlu et al. (2015) وتم بعدها تثبيت الاسنان في الأيبوكسي. العينة تم تقسيمها على 6 مجموعات )ن 22 ( وفقاً<br/>للتالي:<br/>المجموعة 1 : تم الحشو بـ BC sealer وإعادة العلاج بـ XP-endo finisher . المجموعة 2 : تم الحشو بـ Resin sealer<br/>وإعادة العلاج بـ XP-endo finisher . المجموعة 3: تم الحشو بـ BC sealer وإعادة العلاج بـ XP-endo Shaper . المجموعة<br/>4: تم الحشو ب Resin sealer وإعادة العلاج ب XP-endo Shaper. المجموعة 5: تم الحشو ب BC sealer وإعادة العلاج ب<br/>PUI. المجموعة 6 : تم الشحو بـ Resin sealer وإعادة العلاج بـ PUI . بعد ذلك تم شق الاسنان من جديد لتقييم إزالة الحشو لكل<br/>من المجموعات تحت المجهر الضوئي تبعا لنظام النقاط الخاص ب Van Der Sluis et al. (2007).<br/>أظهرت النتائج بوجود فرق إحصائي بين المجموعات الستة (p = 0.013) . المجموعة 5 سجلت أعلى نتيجة تبعا لنظام نقاط<br/>Van der Sulis لتتبعها المجموعات 1, 2, 4 و 6 بدون أي فرق احصائي بينهم. المجموعة 3 اظهرت فرق احصائي عند مقارنتها<br/>بالمجموعة 5 ولكن لم يكن هناك فرق جذري بينها وبين المجموعات 1 , 2 , 4 و 6 .<br/>هذه الدراسة استخلصت انه لا يوجد أي بروتوكل استطاع ان يزيل مجمل الحشو الجذري. وأن ال Resin sealer لم يظهر<br/>أي اختلاف احصائي عند مقارنته بال BC sealer إلا عند استخدام PUI الذي فشل في إزالة ال BC sealer عند مقارنته ب XP-endo Shaper<br/><br/>
