This study examines the effect of applying organizational excellence models, specifically the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM Excellence Model 2020), on enhancing performance quality in Egypt's higher education sector. It investigates why private higher education institutions pursue Organizational Excellence certifications and focuses on the EFQM model’s influence.<br/><br/> To achieve the objectives of this study, a questionnaire composed of (7) axes, which are the standard of the model, and the study community may be (Teaching Staff Members, Department Directors), the Future University (248) to answer the questionnaire paragraphs. Frequencies, arithmetic means, standard deviations, and testing were extracted using Wilcoxon for two non-independent samples for the application (Before and After); the results Before implementation, the mean scores for various axes were mostly around the neutral range, indicating that faculty and department directors had neutral responses. After implementation, the mean scores increased across all axes, indicating that faculty and department directors showed agreement towards the improvements made. The lowest mean was for the Strategic and Operational Performance axis (3.647), and the highest was for Purpose, Vision, and Strategy (4.086). <br/><br/> The study highlights that improving performance quality in higher education is essential for survival and competitiveness. As competition increases, institutions must prioritize continuous performance evaluation. <br/><br/> The study recommended that Organizational Excellence Models should be applied to improve the quality of performance in higher education institutions and that the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM Excellence Model 2020), including processes, procedures, and methods, contribute to the development, improvement, and excellence of higher education institutions. They are instrumental in their role as they are able to cope with and adapt to the local and global challenges and variables facing these institutions.<br/><br/> Finally, applying the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM Excellence Model 2020) ensures that universities gain a competitive advantage relative to other institutions and achieve the goals for which they were created, a set of appropriate prerequisites must be provided to improve the quality of management performance in institutions of higher education and to address all the factors that limit their application at the level of Universities.<br/> |

تتناول هذه الدراسة تأثير تطبيق نماذج التميز المؤسسي، وبالتحديد نموذج التميز الخاص بالمؤسسة الأوروبية لإدارة الجودة (نموذج التميز 2020) ، على تحسين جودة الأداء في قطاع التعليم العالي في مصر. وتستعرض سبب سعي المؤسسات التعليمية الخاصة للحصول على شهادات التميز المؤسسي، وترتكز على تأثير نموذج التميز 2020.<br/>لتحقيق أهداف هذه الدراسة، تم إعداد استبيان يتكون من (7) معايير، وهي معايير النموذج، ويشمل مجتمع الدراسة أعضاء هيئة التدريس ومديري الإدارات في جامعة المستقبل (248) لتعبئة فقرات الاستبيان ، و تم إستخراج التكرارات، المتوسطات الحسابية، الإنحرافات المعيارية، وإختبارات بإستخدام إختبار ويلكوكسون لعينات غير مستقلة للتطبيق (القبلى والبعدى) ، و أظهرت النتائج أن متوسط الدرجات في المحاور المختلفة قبل التطبيق كانت في الغالب في النطاق المحايد، مما يشير إلى أن إستجابات أعضاء هيئة التدريس ومديري الإدارات كانت محايدة. ، وبعد التطبيق ارتفعت المتوسطات في جميع المحاور، مما يدل على أن أعضاء هيئة التدريس ومديري الإدارات أظهروا توافقًا بشأن التحسينات التي أُجريت ، وكان أدنى متوسط في محور الأداء الاستراتيجي والتشغيلي (3.647)، وأعلى متوسط كان في محور الغاية والرؤية والاستراتيجية (4.086).<br/>تسلط الدراسة الضوء على أن تحسين جودة الأداء في التعليم العالي أمر أساسي للبقاء والمنافسة. ومع تزايد المنافسة، يجب على المؤسسات أن تعطي الأولوية للتقييم المستمر للأداء.<br/>أوصت الدراسة بتطبيق نماذج التميز المؤسسي لتحسين جودة الأداء في مؤسسات التعليم العالى، وأن نموذج التميز الخاص بالمؤسسة الأوروبية لإدارة الجودة (نموذج التميز 2020) بما يتضمنه من عمليات وإجراءات وأساليب يساهم في تطوير وتحسين وتميز مؤسسات التعليم العالى. وهي تلعب دوراً محورياً حيث إنها قادرة على التكيف مع التحديات والظروف المحلية والعالمية التي تواجه هذه المؤسسات.<br/>أخيراً، يضمن تطبيق نموذج المؤسسة الأوروبية لإدارة الجودة (نموذج التميز 2020) أن تحظى الجامعات بميزة تنافسية مقارنة بالمؤسسات الأخرى وتحقيق الأهداف التي أنشئت من أجلها، ويجب توفير مجموعة من الشروط المبدئية المناسبة لتحسين جودة الأداء الإداري في مؤسسات التعليم العالي ومعالجة جميع العوامل التي تحد من تطبيقها على مستوى الجامعات |
