Summary, etc. Background: Talent management has been advocated as an important strategy to engage and retain their employees. Talent management is essential for the organization's sustainable development, healthcare services and patients. Aim: To examine the effect of talent management training program on nurse managers' leadership effectiveness. Design: A quasi – experimental design was utilized in this study. Setting: The study was conducted in different clinical specialties units and departments at New Kasr El Aini teaching hospital affiliated to Cairo University. Subjects: A convenient sample of (55) nurse managers who are working in the selected different clinical units and department. Tools: Data were collected by using the following four tools: (1) Personal characteristics data sheet, (2) Talent management knowledge questionnaire, (3) Talent management practice observational checklist, (4) Leadership effectiveness practice observational checklist. Results: There was a statistical significant difference in total knowledge test scores (F= 123.5, P= 0.0001), as well as, in mean scores of total talent management practices (F= 136.4, P= 0.0001) during different periods of assessment. There was a statistical significant difference in total leadership effectiveness practices (F= 154.0, P= 0.0001) among nurse managers during different periods of assessment. Conclusion: There was a positive effect of a talent management training program on nurse managers' leadership effectiveness. Recommendations: Provide nurse managers with adequate support and needed resources that facilitate implementation of talent management as well as motivate them to implement the new educational strategies of talent management that improve their leadership effectiveness. Replicate of the current study in other hospitals to get the talent management benefits and effectiveness for nurse managers, hospital and patients.

Summary, etc. إدارة المواهب هي الانشطة و العمليات التي تتضمن التحديد المنهجي للمناصب الرئيسية التي تساهم بشكل مختلف في الميزة التنافسية المستدامه للمنظمه، و تطويرمجموعة المواهب من شاغلي الوظائف ذوي الامكانات العالية و الأداء العالي لشغل هذة الادوار، و تطوير موارد بشرية متميزة لتسهيل ملء هذة المناصب بشاغليها الاكفاء و ذلك لضمان استمرار التزامهم تجاه المنظمه. تعتبر إدارة المواهب إحدي أهم أدوات جذب الموظفين الأكفاء و الاحتفاظ بهم من خلال توفير فرص التطويرالكافية لهم لضمان استمرار دعم المواهب داخل المؤسسة.<br/>يلعب مديري التمريض دورا حاسما في تشجيع الابداع بين أفراد هيئة التمريض و إدارة المواهب و تحسين الأداء و ذلك من خلال القيادة المستمرة و تحسين الأداء من خلال تفعيل الفكر الإبتكاري لإدارة المواهب و ذلك من أجل مواجهه تحديات العولمه، حيث انه يجب علي المستشفيات تبني استراتيجيات إدارة المواهب بطريقة مبتكرة بما يساعد في الميزة التنافسية لها.<br/>لذلك فانه من المهم ربط القيادة بإدارة المواهب، و التي لها الأولوية في حاجة المديرين الذين يتبنون أفضل الممارسات القيادية من أجل تعظيم فاعلية تنمية الموارد البشرية من خلال تنمية المواهب. بالإضافة إلي الحاجة الي تحسين قدرات المديرين القيادية و تنمية المواهب التي تعتمد عليها مؤسساتهم بما يوفر بيئة مناسبة
