| Summary, etc. | Eighty patients with KOA from both genders were recruited for this study. Every patient has been assessed using a dynamometer to test the isometric strength of the quadriceps, hip adductors, abductors, and external rotators muscle groups. Besides, inclinometer to assess hamstring flexibility from SLR test, iliotibial band flexibility from Ober’s test. It used the Western Ontario and McMaster University Arthritis Index (WOMAC) Arabic version to assess knee functional disability and the visual analogue scale (VAS) to measure pain intensity. Hip abductors strength, pain intensity, functional disability quadriceps muscle strength, and hip external rotators strength are significant predictors of KOA progression. These factors should be closely monitored and targeted in clinical practice to effectively manage and potentially slow the progression of KOA.<br/> |

| Summary, etc. | تم اختيار 80 مريضًا يعانون من التهاب مفصل الركبة من كلا الجنسين لهذه الدراسة أعمارهم 50-65عام. تم تقييم قوة عضلة مربعة الرؤوس الفخذية باستخدام الدينامومتر، كما تم استخدام اختبار القوة الإيزومترية لمجموعة العضلات المقربة للورك، واختبار القوة الإيزومترية لمجموعة العضلات المبعدة للورك، واختبار القوة الإيزومترية لمجموعة العضلات المدورة الخارجية للورك باستخدام الدينامومتر. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، تم قياس مرونة أوتار عضلة الفخذ الخلفية باستخدام اختبار رفع الساق المستقيمة (SLR) بواسطة مقياس الميل، بينما تم تقييم مرونة السبيل الحرقفي الظنبوبي باستخدام اختبار أوبر بواسطة مقياس الميل. تم استخدام النسخة العربية من مؤشر التهاب المفاصل لجامعة ويسترن أونتاريو وماكماستر (WOMAC) لتقييم العجز الوظيفي للركبة، ومقياس التناظر البصري (VAS) لقياس شدة الألم. تُعد قوة العضلات المبعدة للورك، شدة الألم، الإعاقة الوظيفية، قوة مربعة الرؤوس الفخذية، وقوة العضلات المدورة الخارجية لمفصل الحوض والورك مؤشرات تنبؤية هامة لتفاقم التهاب مفصل الركبة. يجب مراقبة هذه العوامل عن كثب واستهدافها في الممارسة السريرية لمعالجة المرض بفعالية وربما إبطاء تقدم التهاب مفصل الركبة.<br/> |
