| Summary, etc. | Shear walls are vital for resisting lateral loads and ensuring stability in high-rise buildings, with rectangular and U-shaped configurations offering significant strength and stiffness. Designing these walls under biaxial moments is complex due to bending interactions about two axes, requiring detailed computations. The Egyptian Code (ECP203-2020) provides guidance for uniaxially loaded walls but offers limited provisions for biaxial designs with varied reinforcement layouts. To address this, interaction curves were developed using Excel VBA, creating interaction diagrams for different geometries and reinforcement patterns. Validated against CSiCol software, these tools improve design accuracy, reduce dependence on costly software, and provide economical solutions for efficient structural engineering. |

| Summary, etc. | تُعدّ حوائط القص عنصرًا أساسيًا لمقاومة الأحمال الجانبية وضمان استقرار المباني الشاهقة، حيث توفر التكوينات المستطيلة وشكل U قوة وصلابة كبيرة. ويُعتبر تصميم هذه الحوائط تحت تأثير عزوم ثنائية المحور عملية معقدة بسبب تداخلات الانحناء حول محورين، مما يتطلب حسابات دقيقة. يقدّم الكود المصري (ECP203-2020) إرشادات للحوائط المحملة أحاديًا، لكنه يقدّم توجيهات محدودة للتصميمات ثنائية المحور ذات توزيعات التسليح المختلفة. لمعالجة ذلك، تم تطوير مخططات الترابط باستخدام برنامج Excel VBA، لتوليد مخططات تفاعل لأنواع مختلفة من الهندسيات وتوزيعات التسليح. وبعد التحقق من صحتها باستخدام برنامج CSiCol، تُحسّن هذه الأدوات من دقة التصميم، وتقلل الاعتماد على البرمجيات المكلفة، وتوفر حلولًا اقتصادية لتحقيق كفاءة في الهندسة الإنشائية. |
