This study aimed to apply Six Sigma project, which was implemented within a transportation company in the field of heavy transport products, where the objectives were to identify and reduce the cost of production in the welding process, reduce the wasteful CO2 resource, improve the quality level of the industrial process, and reduce potential risks.<br/>The objectives were achieved by applying the Six Sigma methodology for the quality improvement project in the heavy transport vehicle production industry, as the applied Six Sigma methodology included teamwork across several phases: define, measure, analyze, improve, and control (DMAIC) and also included analyzing the data in five steps: asking questions, collecting data, cleaning data, analyzing data, summarizing data, and publishing results.<br/>The main problem within the company was the high consumption of CO2 in the production process which reduces the profitability of the company and increases the cost of the product, so the aim is to analyze the main sources of expenses in the production process and the potential risks in the main CO2 plant, the stages of the DMAIC methodology were used in this study to reduce the consumption rate in the process to achieve the goals.<br/>The main contribution of the study is the application of Six Sigma methodology for production line in the automotive industry to reduce the cost of carbon consumption during the welding process. During this study, many tools were used, such as the project charter, which defines the problem, the process map that shows weak points for improvement, the voice of the customer to find out the problem that the customer is suffering from, quality maps to control the performance of the process, and the cause and effect diagram to reach the root causes. To solve the problem, we also used failure mode and effect analysis (PFMEA) and process impact analysis, which is a systematic approach that was used to identify potential failure modes, evaluate their effects, and determine the risk priority number (RPN). It helped prevent failures, and improved operations and overall safety.<br/>These tools helped define the project, measure the initial state of the process, analyze the before and after states, and control the final state of improvement. The result is a reduction in the cost and reduction of carbon dioxide waste in the welding process by about 60 % of its initial value<br/> |

هدفت هذه الدراسة الى تطبيق منهجية ستة سيجما لمشروع تحسين الجودة في صناعة إنتاج سيارات النقل الثقيل، حيث تضمنت منهجية ستة سيجما المطبقه العمل الجماعي عبر عدة مراحل: التعريف والقياس والتحليل والتحسين والتحكم (DMAIC) و ايضًا شملت تحليل البيانات على خمس خطوات هى : طرح الاسئلة ، جمع البيانات، تنظيف البيانات ، تحليل البيانات و تلخيصها ونشر النتائج.<br/>كانت المشكلة الرئيسية داخل الشركة هي الاستهلاك العالي لغاز ثانى اكسيد الكربون في عملية الإنتاج مما يقلل من ربحية الشركة ويزيد من تكلفة المنتج. لذا فإن الهدف هو تحليل المصادر الرئيسية للنفقات في عملية الإنتاج و المخاطر المحتملة فى المحطة الرئيسية لغاز ثانى اكسيد الكربون تم استخدام مراحل منهجية (DMAIC) في هذه الدراسة لتقليل معدل الاستهلاك في العملية لتحقيق الاهداف.<br/>المساهمة الرئيسية للدراسة هي تطبيق منهجية ستة سيجما لخط الإنتاج في صناعة السيارات لتقليل تكلفة استهلاك الكربون أثناء عملية اللحام. وخلال هذه الدراسة، تم استخدام العديد من الأدوات مثل ميثاق المشروع، والذي يحدد المشكلة، وخريطة العملية التى تظهر نقاط الضعف لتحسينها، و صوت العميل لمعرفة المشكلة التى يعانى منها العميل، و خرائط الجودة للتحكم فى اداء العملية، ومخطط السبب والتأثيرللوصول الى الاسباب الجذرية للمشكلة و ايضًا تم استخدام تحليل اوضاع الفشل و تحليل التأثير للعملية (FMEA) وهونهج منظم تم استخدامة لتحديد حالات الفشل المحتملة وتقييم اثارها وتحديد رقم أولويات الخطر(RPN) فهو ساعد فى منع الفشل ، و تحسين العمليات و سلامتها بشكل عام.<br/> |
