| Summary, etc. | Background: School age children with cerebral palsy (CP) rely on caregivers for their daily needs, leading to stress as they seek interventions and support to improve their abilities. Caregivers must provide complete primary caregiving, including feeding, locomotion, bathing, managing seizures, and carrying the child to medical reviews Aim: To explore the lived experience of caregivers having Cerebral Palsy School Age Children Design: : A qualitative research design was used. Setting: The study was conducted at the national institute of neuromotor system in 1 El-tayar Fekry Street. Kornish El-nail-Imbaba-Giza. Sample: a purposive sample of 12 caregivers having children with CP was selected. Tools for Data Collection: Two tools were used First tool: Demographic characteristics of Caregivers with their cerebral palsy school age children structured questionnaire:-It was developed by the researcher. It included 2 parts:-Part one: - Demographic data of caregivers. Part two: - Demographic data of cerebral palsy child & Second tool:- Caregivers of school age children semi-structured interview guide. Results: The current study identifies eight major themes in exploring experience of caregivers quality of life who had Cerebral Palsy children:- (I) Support people & Culture norms, (II) Fulfillment of needs, (III) Realization of life potential, (IV) Biological order, (V) well-being, (VI) Life satisfaction,(VII) Happiness, & (VIII )Meaning in life . The major themes classified into sixty sub-themes .The major and sub themes are based on quality of life (QOL) scale. Recommendations: Based on data analysis of major and sub themes recommendation of the current study is the caregivers needed to support from family members to help and assist them while caring of children with CP. |

| Summary, etc. | يعتمد الأطفال في سن المدرسة الذين يعانون من الشلل الدماغي (CP) على مقدمي الرعاية لتلبية احتياجاتهم اليومية، مما يؤدي إلى التوتر أثناء سعيهم للحصول على التدخلات والدعم لتحسين قدراتهم. يجب على مقدمي الرعاية توفير الرعاية الأساسية بالكامل، بما في ذلك التغذية، والحركة، والاستحمام، وإدارة النوبات، وحمل الطفل إلى المراجعات الطبية.الهدف: استكشاف تجربة مقدمي الرعاية للأطفال المصابين بالشلل الدماغي في سن المدرسة.التصميم: تم استخدام تصميم بحث نوعي.الموقع: تم إجراء الدراسة في المعهد الوطني للأنظمة العصبية الحركية في 1 شارع الطيار فكري، كورنيش النيل - إمبابة - الجيزة.العينة: تم اختيار عينة هادفة من 12 مقدم رعاية لديهم أطفال مصابين بالشلل الدماغي.أدوات جمع البيانات: تم استخدام أداتين. الأداة الأولى: استبيان خصائص ديموغرافية لمقدمي الرعاية مع أطفالهم المصابين بالشلل الدماغي في سن المدرسة: تم تطويره من قبل الباحث. يتضمن الاستبيان جزئين:الجزء الأول: البيانات الديموغرافية لمقدمي الرعاية.الجزء الثاني: البيانات الديموغرافية للطفل المصاب بالشلل الدماغي. الأداة الثانية: دليل مقابلة شبه مهيكل لمقدمي رعاية الأطفال في سن المدرسة.النتائج: تحدد الدراسة الحالية ثمانية مواضيع رئيسية في استكشاف تجربة مقدمي الرعاية وجودة حياتهم الذين لديهم أطفال مصابين بالشلل الدماغي: (1) الأشخاص الداعمون والمعايير الثقافية، (2) تلبية الاحتياجات، (3) تحقيق إمكانيات الحياة، (4) الترتيب البيولوجي، (5) الرفاهية، (6) رضا الحياة، (7) السعادة، (8) المعنى في الحياة. تم تصنيف المواضيع الرئيسية والفرعية إلى ستين موضوعًا فرعيًا. المواضيع الرئيسية والفرعية تعتمد على مقياس جودة الحياة (QOL)التوصيات: بناءً على تحليل البيانات للمواضيع الرئيسية والفرعية، التوصية من الدراسة الحالية هي ضرورة دعم مقدمي الرعاية من قبل أفراد الأسرة لمساعدتهم في رعاية الأطفال المصابين بالشلل الدماغي |
