Summary, etc.	Aim: This study aimed to evaluate the efficacy of topical Rebamipide and Rebamipide nanoparticles in comparison to Clobetasol propionate in the management of Methotrexate induced oral ulceration and mucositis in rheumatoid arthritis patients.<br/>Methodology: 33 patients diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and being treated with methotrexate at the time of the study were assigned in a double blind fashion into 3 groups using computer based 1:1:1 ratio randomization. Subjects were assigned to receive Rebamipide in Group 1, Rebamipide nanoparticles in Group 2, and Clobetasol propionate in Group 3 in an identical, opaque, sealed and labeled containers with all interventions had similar color, weight, taste, smell and were in the form of mucoadhesive gel to be applied 4 times per day for 2 weeks or until complete healing. Clinical improvement of oral ulcers was evaluated using the WHO mucositis grading scale and subjective assessment of pain was done using the Numerical Rating Scale (NRS). Additionally, ulcer size in mm2 and healing time were recorded.<br/>Results: There was a statistically insignificant difference between all groups regarding all the measured outcomes. However, there was intragroup statistically significant difference before & after treatment regarding mucositis grade and pain score in all interventions. Despite the non- Conclusion: Rebamipide in its regular and nanocrystal form is a better alternative for steroids in Methotrexate induced oral ulcers with lower side effects<br/>

Summary, etc.	هدفت هذه الدراسه إلي تقييم فعالية لاصق مخاطي يحتوي علي مادة الريباميبيد في شكلها العدي والنانو بالمقارنه مع لاصق مخاطي يحتوي علي مادة الكلوبيتازول بروبيونات في علاج التهاب الغشاء المخاطي وتقرح الفم الناتج عن العلاج بمادة الميثوتريكسات في عينه من المرضي الذين يعانون من التهاب المفاصل الروماتويدي. من المفترض أنه لن يكون هناك فرق بين كل من الريباميبيد و الكلوبيتازول في علاج التقرح والتهاب الأغشيه المخاطيه للفم في مرضي التهاب المفاصل الروماتويدي.<br/>تضمنت هذه التجربة السريرية العشوائية مزدوجة التعمية علي ثلاث و ثلاثين مريضًا تم تشخيص إصابتهم بالتهاب المفاصل الروماتويدي ويتم علاجهم بالميثوتريكسيتز ثم تم تقسيمهم إلى ثلاث مجموعات باستخدام التوزيع العشوائي القائم على الحاسب الالي بنسبة 1:1:1. تم تعيين الأشخاص لتلقي الريباميبيد في المجموعة الأولي، وجسيمات الريباميبيد النانوية في المجموعة الثانيه ، و الكلوبيتاسول بروبيونات في المجموعة الثالثه في حاويات متطابقة ومعتمة ومختومة ومسماه باسم المجموعه. كل الدواء المحضر له نفس اللون والوزن والطعم والرائحة وكان في شكل لاصق مخاطي يتم استخدامه أربع مرات يومياً لمدة إسبوعين أو حتى الشفاء التام. النتائج التي تم قياسها هي التحسن السريري لقرحة الفم باستخدام مقياس منظمة الصحة العالمية لدرجات التهاب الغشاء المخاطي، ودرجة الألم الشخصية للمريض باستخدام مقياس التقييم العددي، وحجم القرحة بالملليمترالمربع ووقت الشفاء بالأيام.<br/>لم يكن هناك فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين جميع المجموعات فيما يتعلق بجميع النتائج المقاسة. مع ذلك، كان هناك فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بداخل كل مجموعة قبل وبعد العلاج فيما يتعلق بدرجة التهاب الغشاء المخاطي ودرجة الألم في جميع الأدويه المحضره. على الرغم من عدم وجود اختلاف إحصائي بين المجموعات، ولكن زمن الشفاء كان الأقصر في مجموعة الجسيمات النانوية.<br/>كانت كل الادويه المحضرة فعالة في علاج مرضى التهاب المفاصل الروماتويدي الذين يعانون من تقرح الفم والتهاب الغشاء المخاطي للفم الناجم عن الميثوتريكسيت. ومع ذلك، فإن الريباميبيد في شكله العادي والبلوري النانوي يعد بديلاً أفضل للستيرويدات و ذات آثار جانبية أقل.<br/>
