| Summary, etc. | هدف الدراسة: تحليل تأثير قطاع تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات على أداء القطاع المصرفي في نيجيريا، وتحليل مدى التطور الذي شهده قطاع تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات وتأثيره الواضح على أداء القطاع المصرفي في نيجيريا. وقد تم تقسيم الدراسة إلى أربعة فصول: الفصل الأول يتناول الإطار النظري لتكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات وعلاقتها بالأداء المصرفي، والفصل الثاني يتناول تحليل تطبيقات تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات في القطاع المصرفي في إفريقيا، والفصل الثالث يتناول دور تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات في الأداء المصرفي النيجيري، وأخيراً يركز الفصل الرابع على قياس تأثير تطبيقات تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات على الأداء المصرفي في نيجيريا منذ عام 2001. وبشكل عام، خلصت الدراسة إلى أن قطاع تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات له تأثير إيجابي على أداء القطاع المصرفي في نيجيريا، حيث اتفقت غالبية الدراسات السابقة ونتائج النموذج القياسي المستخدم في هذه الدراسة على استنتاج رئيسي وهو أن تطبيقات تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات في البنوك النيجيرية ستؤدي إلى تحسين أداء القطاع المصرفي. |

| Summary, etc. | The Objective of The Study: Analysis of the impact of the ICT sector on the performance of the banking sector in Nigeria, and analysis the extent of development witnessed by the ICT sector and its clear impact on the performance of the banking sector in Nigeria. The study has been divided to four chapters: the first chapter is about theoretical framework on information and communication technology and its relationship to banking performance, the second analyze ICT Applications in the Banking Sector in Africa, the third is the role of ICT in Nigerian banking performance, Finally, fourth chapter is focused on Measuring the Impact of ICT Applications on Banking Performance in Nigeria since 2001. Overall, the study concluded that The ICT sector has a positive impact on the performance of the banking sector in Nigeria, as the majority of previous studies and the results of the standard model used in this study agreed on a major conclusion, which is that ICT applications in Nigerian banks will lead to improved performance of the banking sector. |
