Summary, etc. Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell (PEMFC) parameter estimation has garnered significant attention over the last decade. PEMFC is considered one of the most important renewable resources used in many fields due to its potential to provide clean and efficient energy solutions for various applications. In this thesis, a hybrid optimization algorithm called Quasi-Opposition Learning and Q-learning based Marine Predators Algorithm (QQLMPA) that combines the marine predator algorithm with two enhancements is proposed for the PEMFC parameter estimation problem. The first enhancement is Q-learning, which significantly improves the algorithm’s convergence speed. The second enhancement is Quasi-Opposition learning, which enhances the search capabilities of the algorithm. It has been applied to estimate the parameters of three different commercial PEMFC stack while considering changes in the operating pressure and temperature. Its performance was compared to six recent and conventional algorithms. In regard to precision and convergence speed, the results demonstrate that the QQLMPA succeeds over other optimization algorithms. Furthermore, the algorithm requires fewer. The accuracy of it is proven by the low levels of the sum of the squared error (SSE) between the experimental PEMFC stack voltage and the estimated model voltage.

Summary, etc. تقدير المتغيرات لخلايا الوقود بغشاء تبادل البروتونات (PEMFC) لفت الانتباه بشكل كبير خلال العقد الماضي. إذ تعتبر خلايا الوقود بغشاء تبادل البروتونات واحدة من أهم المصادر المتجددة التي تستخدم في العديد من المجالات بسبب قدرتها على توفير حلول طاقة نظيفة وفعالة للتطبيقات المختلفة. في هذه الرسالة، يُقترح تطبيق خوارزمية هجينة تسمى Quasi-Opposition Learning and Q-learning based Marine Predators Algorithm (QQLMPA) تجمع بين خوارزمية المفترسات البحرية (MPA) مع تحسينين للوصول الى الحل الأمثل لمشكلة تقدير متغيرات PEMFC المجهولة. التحسين الأول هو Q-learning ، الذي يسرع الى حد كبير سرعة تقارب الخوارزمية. التحسين الثاني هو Quasi-Opposition learning ، الذي يعزز قدرات البحث في الخوارزمية. وقد طُبقت هذه الخوارزمية المقترحة لتقدير المتغيرات المجهولة لثلاث خلايا وقودية تجارية مختلفة، مع مراعاة التغيرات في ضغط التشغيل ودرجة الحرارة. وقد قورن أداء الخوارزمية المقترحة بستة خوارزميات حديثة وتقليدية. وفيما يتعلق بالدقة وسرعة التقارب، تبرهن النتائج على أنها تتفوق على خوارزميات أخرى. وعلاوة على ذلك، فهي تتطلب عدداً أقل من التكرارات وتُظهر استقراراً وثباتاً أفضل مقارنة بالخوارزميات المستخدمة الاخرى. تثبت دقة QQLMPA من خلال المستويات المنخفضة لمجموع الأخطاء المربعة (SSE) بين جهد خلايا الوقود (PEMFC) التجريبي والجهد المقدر.
