Summary, etc. This Thesis incorporates four chapters. The first chapter includes an introduction about the various methods for the synthesis of thieno[2,3-d]pyrimidine derivatives, a brief survey on programmed cell death, tyrosine kinase receptor enzymes, apoptosis, as well as the anticancer activity of thienopyrimidine-bearing derivatives. The second chapter displays the research objectives of the work, and the schemes outlined for the synthesis of the target compounds. The third chapter contributes the theoretical discussion of the experimental work, the discussion of the anticancer and enzymatic activities of the new compounds, molecular modelling study and a brief discussion of the structure-activity relationship as well. The fourth chapter comprises the experimental work demonstrating the procedures carried out for preparing the intermediates and the target compounds in details along with the physical properties of the synthesized compounds, their element analyses and spectral data are elucidated. Furthermore, it covers the in vitro anticancer and FLT-3 enzymatic activities of the newly synthesized compounds, the apoptotic activity of the most active compounds and their molecular docking study.

Summary, etc. تحتوي الرسالة على اربعة فصول. الفصل الاول يتضمن مقدمة حول الطرق المختلفة لتشييد مشتقات الثيينو]٢,٣-د[بيريميدين، ومقدمة موجزة عن موت الخلايا المبرمج، وإنزيمات مستقبلات التيروزين كيناز، وموت الخلايا المبرمج، بالإضافة إلى النشاط المضاد للسرطان لمشتقات الثينوبيريميدين. الفصل الثاني يعرض أهداف البحث وعرض المخططات التي توضح الطرق العملية التي صممت للحصول على هذه المركبات.<br/> الفصل الثالث يتضمن المناقشة النظرية للجزء العملى، ومناقشة الأنشطة المضادة للسرطان والأنشطة الإنزيمية للمركبات الجديدة، ودراسة النمذجة الجزيئية، ومناقشة موجزة عن علاقة تركيب المركبات بفاعليتها. الفصل الرابع يشمل الخطوات العملية التي تم تنفيذها لتحضير المركبات الوسيطة والمستهدفة بالتفصيل، بالإضافة إلى خصائص المركبات التي تم تشييدها، وتحليل العناصر والبيانات الطيفية لهذه المركبات. هذا الفصل يغطي أيضا النشاط المضاد للسرطان في المختبر وفاعلية المركبات التي تم تشييدها حديثًا ضد إنزيم FLT-3 ، ونشاط موت الخلايا المبرمج للمركبات الأكثر فاعلية ودراسة النمذجة الجزيئية لها.
