Summary, etc.	Purpose: This study was conducted to assess the therapeutic effect of mulligan mobilization technique in improving shoulder ROM and upper limb function in patients with shoulder dysfunction post neck dissection surgeries. Subjects and methods: 76 patients participated in this study. Their ages ranged from 30 to 50 years. They were selected from Damanhour Oncology Centre and divided randomly into two groups equal in number. Group (A): 38 patients received mulligan mobilization technique 3 times per week in addition to conventional physiotherapy program (myofascial release, stretching ex. strengthening ex. and ROM ex.) for 6 weeks. While, Group (B): 38 patients received conventional physiotherapy program (myofascial release, stretching ex. strengthening ex. and ROM ex.) 3 times per week for 6 weeks. Shoulder ROM was evaluated by digital goniometer and upper limb function was evaluated by shoulder pain and disability index before and after the intervention. Results: This study revealed that there was a statistically significant increase in shoulder flexion, abduction and external rotation ROM and a significant decrease in SPADI of group (A) compared with that of group (B) (p < 0.001). Conclusion: Mulligan mobilization technique is effective in improving shoulder ROM and upper limb function in patients with shoulder dysfunction post neck dissection surgeries.

Summary, etc.	الخلفية: أصبحت أجهزة الوسائط المرئية جزءًا لا يتجزأ من الحياة اليومية، وخاصة بالنسبة للأطفال في سن ما قبل المدرسة، يعد وقت الشاشة عاملًا ناشئًا للسلوكيات الغذائية بين الأطفال فوقت الشاشة المفرط يؤثر سلبًا على صحة الأطفال ونموهم.<br/>الأهداف: تهدف هذه الدراسة إلي تقييم تأثير وقت التعرض للشاشة علي مؤشر كتلة الجسم وسلوك الأكل وجودة الحياة المتعلقة بالصحة في الأطفال الطبيعيين ما قبل المدرسة. طرق الدراسة: أجريت هذه الدراسة علي 122 طفل بالحضانات الخاصة بمنطقة حلوان والمعادي وحدائق المعادي بمحافظة القاهرة بمصر ، تتراوح أعمارهم بين 5 و 6 سنوات، تم استخدام مقياس اعتماد الشاشة لاختيار العينة وتقسيم الأطفال الي معتمدين أوغير معتمدين علي الشاشة وتم قياس الوزن (كجم) والطول (سم) باستخدام مقياس الوزن والطول القياسي لحساب مؤشر كتلة الجسم، ثم تم قياس سلوك الأكل وجودة الحياة باستخدام "استبيان سلوكيات الأكل للأطفال (CEBQ)" و"مقياس جودة الحياة للأطفال الإصدار 4.0 (PedsQL 4.0 Generic Core Scale)" على التوالي.<br/> النتائج: أظهرت النتائج وجود ارتباط سلبي ضعيف ذا دلالة إحصائية بين التعرض للشاشات ومؤشر كتلة الجسم، كما لم يظهر التعرض للشاشات ارتباطًا ذا دلالة إحصائية مع الاستجابة للطعام، أو الأكل العاطفي الزائد، أو الرغبة في الشرب، أو الاستمتاع بالطعام، أو البطء في تناول الطعام، ومع ذلك وُجد ارتباط إيجابي ضعيف ذو دلالة إحصائية مع الاستجابة للشبع، والأكل العاطفي المنخفض، وصعوبة الإرضاء في الطعام، كما أظهر التعرض للشاشات ارتباطًا سلبيًا ذا دلالة إحصائية مع الوظيفة البدنية، وجودة الحياة الكلية، وكذلك الصحة النفسية والاجتماعية. أظهر مؤشر كتلة الجسم ارتباطًا إيجابيًا ذا دلالة إحصائية مع الاستجابة للطعام، والأكل العاطفي الزائد، والرغبة في الشرب، والاستمتاع بالطعام، بينما ارتبط سلبيًا بشكل دال مع الاستجابة للشبع، والبطء في تناول الطعام، والأكل العاطفي المنخفض. ولم يظهر مؤشر كتلة الجسم ارتباطًا ذا دلالة إحصائية مع صعوبة الإرضاء في الطعام، أو الوظيفة البدنية، أو جودة الحياة الكلية، أو الصحة النفسية والاجتماعية.<br/>أظهرت جودة الحياة لدى الأطفال ارتباطًا سلبيًا ضعيفًا غير دال مع الاستجابة للطعام، والأكل العاطفي الزائد، والرغبة في الشرب، والاستمتاع بالطعام، والبطء في تناول الطعام. في حين وُجدت ارتباطات سلبية ضعيفة ذات دلالة إحصائية مع الاستجابة للشبع، والأكل العاطفي المنخفض، وصعوبة الإرضاء في الطعام.<br/>الخلاصة: تُشير نتائج الدراسة الحالية إلى أن التعرض المفرط للشاشات بين الأطفال في سن ما قبل المدرسة يرتبط بانخفاض النشاط البدني، وضعف الصحة النفسية والاجتماعية، وتدني جودة الحياة المرتبطة بالصحة، وسلوكيات غذائية غير صحية، بالإضافة إلى انخفاض مؤشر كتلة الجسم.
