| Summary, etc. | هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى التعرُّف على دور المساندة الاجتماعية وفاعلية الذات في التنبؤ بنوعية الحياة لدى مريضات التهاب المفاصل الروماتويدي، والوقوف على الفروق بينهن بناء على مدة المرض، وشدة المرض والحالة الاجتماعية. وتكوّنت عينة الدراسة من (100) مريضة من مريضات التهاب المفاصل الروماتويدي، تراوحت أعمارهن من (25: 55) سنة. وأسفرت النتائج عن وجود علاقة ارتباطية ايجابية بين الدرجة الكلية لنوعية الحياة وكلٍ من الدرجة الكلية للمساندة الاجتماعية وأبعادها والدرجة الكلية لفاعلية الذات وأبعادها (فاعلية الذات لإدارة الألم، وفاعلية الذات الأدائية). وأسهمت الدرجة الكلية لفاعلية الذات والمساندة الوجدانية فقط بالتنبؤ بنوعية الحياة لدى مريضات التهاب المفاصل الروماتويدي. كما وجدت فروق جوهرية في الدرجة الكلية لنوعية الحياة وبُعد الصحة الجسمية والأنشطة العملية، والدرجة الكلية لفاعلية الذات وبُعد فاعلية الذات الأدائية بناء على شدة المرض فى صالح ذوات الشدة الاقل بينما لم توجد فروق بين المتزوجات وغير المتزوجات على مقاييس الدراسة. |

| Summary, etc. | The aim of the current study was to identify the role of social support and self-efficacy in predicting quality of life among patients with rheumatoid arthritis, and to examine differences between them based on disease duration, disease severity, and marital status. The study sample consisted of 100 patients with rheumatoid arthritis, aged between 25 and 55 years. The results showed a positive correlation between the overall quality of life score and both the total social support score and its dimensions, as well as the total self-efficacy score and its dimensions (self-efficacy in pain management and performance self-efficacy). Only the overall self-efficacy score and emotional support , predicting the quality of life. Additionally, significant differences were found in the overall quality of life score, the physical health dimension, and the daily activities dimension, as well as in the overall self-efficacy score and the performance self-efficacy dimension, based on disease severity, in favor of those with less severe disease. However, no differences were found between married and unmarried patients on the study measures. |
