Summary, etc.	Imaging diagnostic evaluation of the primary breast lesion itself is mainly <br/>determined from mammography, ultrasound, and MRI (Dong et al, 2016). <br/>Positron emission mammography (PEM) is a relatively new imaging modality <br/>that has higher resolution than PET-CT and can be performed on patients unable to <br/>have an MRI scan, Since PEM has a high sensitivity and specificity for the diagnosis <br/>of small breast cancers, including DCIS, and thus can improve the evaluation of <br/>suspicious findings at mammography, helping to avoid unnecessary biopsies (Glass <br/>& Shah, 2013). <br/><br/>PEM was approved by the US Food and Drug Administration and has been <br/>introduced into clinical use as a diagnostic adjunct to mammography and breast <br/>ultrasonography. PEM should be considered a strong adjunct to conventional <br/>imaging in those patients

Summary, etc.	يعد تصوير الثدي بالاصدار البوزيتروني ذو قيمة تشخيصية ودقة مكانية عالية في القدرة علي التفرقة بين افات الثدي الحميدة والخبيثة ومن ثم اختيار خطة العلاج المناسبة. هذا علاوة علي تحديد الوخذ الابري لاخذ عينة من الافة موضع الشك.<br/>الهدف من هذه الرسالة:<br/>تحديد انماط امتصاص المادة المشعة لمختلف افات الثدي الحميد منها والخبيث اثناء تصوير الثدي بالاصدار البوزيتروي وايضا تحديد الدرجة والنوع الجزيئي للورم .<br/>المواد والأساليب: <br/>لقد اشتملت هذه الدراسة علي ثلاثمائة وسبع وثلاثون مريضة بمجمل اربعمائة واثين وثمانون افة ثدي حيث خضعن جميعهن لمختلف انواع التصوير بمتشفي بهية للكشف المبكر وعلاج اورام الثدي في غضو الفترة من مارس 2022 حتي فبراير 2024. <br/>معايير الدمج في الدراسة:<br/>• المرضى البالغين حيث تتراوح أعمارهم ما بين سبعة وعشرين ثمانية وثمانين عاما .<br/>• مرضى يعاون من اشتباه بافات ثدي اما في ناحية واحدة او كلا الثديين. <br/>فيما يخص المعايير الكيفية لنتائج التصوير البوزيتروني فقد تراوحت الانماط التي ظهرت بها افة الثدي اما في شكل كتلة محددة الابعاد في 65.6% من الحالات او شكل غير كتلي في 21% من مجمل الافات او كلاهما بنسبة 13.5% . <br/>فيما يخص الافات التي ظهرت علي هيئة كتلة اظهر اغلبهم حواف غير منتظمة الشكل في حين اظهر اغلب الشكل الغير تكتلي توزيعا قطعيا للمادة المشعة الممتصة لافة الثدي .<br/>فيما يخص المعايير الكمية للتصوير البوزيتروي فقد تراوح الامتصاص الرقمي للمادة المشعة ما بين 3.2 +_ 22.6 و 4.7 +_ 3.2 وقد كانت اغلب الغدد الليمفاوية من النوع الحميد بنسبة 75.4% من مجمل حالات الفحص.<br/>لقد اظهر تصوير الثدي بالاصدار البوزيتروني قيمة فاصلة بين افات الثدي الحميدة والخبيثة فيما يخص امتصاص المادة المشعة عند 1.92 و 3.145.
