| Summary, etc. | هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى استكشاف دور مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي في توعية الشباب بمخاطر التعرض للمواد الإباحية، باستخدام منهج المسح الإعلامي. تم تطبيق أداة تحليل المضمون لتحليل محتوى صفحة "واعي" على فيسبوك، والتي تُعنى بالتوعية بمخاطر الإباحية، بالإضافة إلى إرسال استبانة إلكترونية لعينتين من الشباب الذين تتراوح أعمارهم بين 18 و35 سنة. تضمنت العينة الأولى مجموعة تطوعية عامة، بينما شملت العينة الثانية مجموعة عمدية من الذين تلقوا توعية بمخاطر الإباحية عبر حسابات "واعي" على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي. أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن 89.9% من العينة العمدية أكدوا استفادتهم من المحتوى التوعوي. ومن حيث طبيعة الاستفادة، أفاد 94.5% من المشاركين بأنهم اكتسبوا معلومات جديدة عن مخاطر الإباحية، و91.1% منهم أشاروا إلى أن المحتوى جعلهم يرغبون في ترك الإباحية. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، ذكر 90.7% من المشاركين أن التوعية منحتهم أملاً في إمكانية التوقف عن مشاهدة الإباحية، فيما لاحظ 76.6% منهم تغييرًا إيجابيًا في سلوكهم حيث انخفض استهلاكهم للإباحية، و21.1% توقفوا تمامًا عن مشاهدة الإباحية لمدة ثلاثة أشهر أو أكثر. كما أشار 19.6% من المشاركين إلى أنهم استطاعوا مساعدة شخص آخر على ترك الإباحية. تشير النتائج إلى أن زيادة الوعي بمخاطر الإباحية عبر مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي ارتبطت بتحسن في قدرة الشباب على التوقف عن مشاهدتها، وكانت هذه العلاقة أكثر وضوحًا في العينة التطوعية مقارنةً بالعينة العمدية. |

| Summary, etc. | This study aimed to explore the role of social media in raising awareness among youth about the dangers of exposure to pornography, using a media survey methodology. A content analysis tool was applied to examine the content of the "Aware" Facebook page, which focuses on awareness of the dangers of pornography. Additionally, an anonymous electronic survey was distributed to two samples of youth aged between 18 and 35. The first sample was a general voluntary group, while the second was a purposive group that had received awareness about the dangers of pornography through the "Aware" social media accounts. The study results showed that 89.9% of the purposive sample confirmed benefiting from the awareness content. In terms of the nature of the benefit, 94.5% of the participants reported learning new information about the dangers of pornography, and 91.1% indicated that the content motivated them to quit pornography. Moreover, 90.7% of the participants stated that the awareness gave them hope in the possibility of quitting pornography, while 76.6% observed a positive change in their behavior with reduced pornography consumption, and 21.1% completely stopped watching pornography for three months or more. Additionally, 19.6% of participants mentioned that they were able to help someone else quit pornography. The findings indicate that increased awareness of the dangers of pornography through social media is associated with improved ability among young people to stop watching it, and this relationship was more evident in the voluntary sample compared to the purposive sample. |
