| Summary, etc. | This study examines the performance of cold-formed steel beam-column connections <br/>subjected to primary axis bending moments via a special bent gusset plate. Four samples <br/>were experimentally evaluated to ascertain the moment rotation of the connection and <br/>its final capacity. Two varieties of gusset plates were examined; the first had a 45-degree <br/>angled upper and lower haunch to enhance its strength, while the second included just a <br/>lower haunch. The experimental specimens were simulated using finite element <br/>software, and the results were compared to verify the numerical model. A parametric <br/>analysis was presented to examine the influence of many factors on the performance and <br/>capacity of the connection. The variables included gusset plate thickness, bolt diameter, <br/>beam and column cross-section thickness, and supplementary bolts on the column <br/>flange. The suggested connection functioned as a semi-rigid connection, with gusset <br/>plate thickness being the primary determinant of connection capacity. |

| Summary, etc. | تبحث هذه الدراسة في سلوك وصلات الركن بالإطارات من الصُلب المشكل على البارد المعرضة لإنحناء حول المحور الرئيسي باستخدام لوح تجميع خاص. تم اختبار أربع عينات تجريبياً لتحديد منحنى العزم مع الدوران للوصلة وكذلك المقاومة القصوى. تمت دراسة نوعين من الألواح المجمعة؛ يتميز الأول بجزء علوي وسفلي بزاوية 45 درجة لزيادة مقاومته، في حين أن الثاني يتضمن فقط الجزء السفلي. تم نمذجة العينات المعملية باستخدام برنامج العناصر المحدودة ومقارنة النتائج من أجل التحقق من صحة النموذج العددي. تمت دراسة مجموعة من المتغيرات لتحديد تأثيرها على سلوك والمقاومة القصوى للوصلة. وشملت هذه المتغيرات سمك لوح التجميع، وقطر المسمار، وسمك قطاع الكمرة والعمود، واستخدام مسامير إضافية على شفة العمود. أوضحت الدراسة أن سلوك الوصلة المقترحة كوصلة شبه جاسئة، وأن سمك لوح التجميع هو العامل الأكثر أهمية الذي يتحكم في مقاومة الوصلة. |
