| Summary, etc. | تهدف هذه الدِّراسة إلى عقد مقارنة نقدية بين سبعة أعمال روائية تدور حول مدينة الإسكندرية، ينتمي ثلاثة منها إلى الأدب العربي المصري، وينتمي أربعة منها إلى الأدب الإنجليزي؛ وتنبع أهمية هذه الدّراسة من الكشف عن مسارات التّلاقي والتباعد بين المجموعتين الروائيتين، وتحليل هذه المسارات، ومن ثمّ تقديم صورة واضحة المعالم والملامح للمدينة السكندرية في فترة معينة بين أدبين بعينهما. |

The significance of this study stems from revealing the paths of convergence and divergence between the two novelistic groups, analyzing these paths, and then presenting a clear picture of the features and characteristics of the city of Alexandria in a specific period between two distinct literatures. |
