The study was carried out to characterize productive and reproductive performance of <br/>Saidi goats under the Upper Egypt conditions. Sixty-two mature does were involved in this <br/>study (18 for winter kidding, 20 for summer kidding, 11 for detection of oestrous and 13 <br/>for adaptive performance) aged 1-1.5 year and weighed on average 21.6 ± 0.85 kg. <br/>Reproductive performance of Saidi goats was studied in two mating seasons, Summer <br/>mating (winter kidding season) and winter mating (summer kidding season) during two <br/>consecutive years. A significant difference (P< 0.01) was found in number of services per <br/>conception between summer mating (2.33) and winter mating (1.45) seasons. The <br/>conception rate in both winter and summer mating were 100 % in Saidi goats. The abortion <br/>rate was (11.1 and 0 %) in summer and winter mating, respectively. Litter size was 1.88 and <br/>1.65 for goats kidded in winter and summer seasons, respectively. There was a significant <br/>difference (P< 0.01) in the length of the oestrous cycle over the different seasons. It was <br/>16.47, 18.27, 20.35 and 37.55 days during summer, autumn, winter and spring seasons, <br/>respectively. The average length of the oestrous cycle of Saidi goats was 21.9 days. There <br/>was no significant difference over the four seasons in estrus duration. The birth weight of <br/>Saidi kids was 1.61 kg, Males were heavier than females. The weaning weight of kids was <br/>6.72 kg. Average kid mortality rate from birth to weaning in summer kidded kids was (34.5 <br/>%) and (14.3 %) in winter. There was no significant difference (P<0.01) between the <br/>average daily milk production during the two milk seasons (773 g / day in winter and 751 <br/>g / day in summer). Kidding does who gave birth during the winter season gave a higher <br/>milk yield (126.9 kg in a 162 days of lactation length) than kidding does during the summer <br/>season (89.5 kg in a 119.5 days of lactation length). The differences were highly significant <br/>(P<0.01). The temperature and humidity index (THI) before exposure (73.44) and after <br/>(87.23) exposure to direct solar radiation which indicated that the animals was under severe <br/>heat stress during exposure to direct solar radiation. There was a rise in rectal temperature <br/>from (38.91 ° C) before exposure to (39.99 ° C) after exposure. The skin temperature <br/>increased by (4.22°C) and the ear temperature increased by (4.16°C) after exposure to direct <br/>solar radiation. The respiratory rate increased from (21.54) to (52.09 breathes/min) with <br/>exposure to direct sun radiation. The percentage of the increase is 140%. The gas volume <br/>increased from 1.58 liters/minute before exposure to 3.03 liters /minute after exposure <br/>equivalent to an increase of 91.8%. Tidal volume (volume of gas per breath) decreased from <br/>(72.97 ml/ breath) before exposure to (61.24 ml/breath) after exposure (decreased by <br/>16.1%). Saidi goats have good productive and reproductive performance under harsh <br/>conditions of Upper Egypt. It has good ability to reproduce all over the year with high <br/>prolificacy and growth rates. Their milk production is adequate to feed their kids in addition <br/>to some surplus milk. |

أجريت الدراسة لتوصيف الأداء الإنتاجي والتناسلي للماعز الصعيدي في ظل ظروف صعيد مصر. استخدم في التجربة اثنان وستون عنزة ناضجة تتراوح أعمارهم بين ١- ١,٥ سنة بمتوسط وزن ( ٢١,٦± ٠,٨٥) كجم. تم دراسة الأداء التناسلي للماعز الصعيدي في موسمين ولادة متتاليين (موسم ولادة شتوية لعدد ١٨ أنثي، موسم ولادة صيفية لعدد 20 أنثي من الماعز الصعيدي). متابعة طول دورة الشبق باستخدام طريقة التيس الكشاف لعدد ١١ أنثي ماعز صعيدي لمدة سنة كاملة (الصيف، الخريف، الشتاء، الربيع). متابعة معدلات النمو اليومي للجداء من الميلاد حتي الفطام و من الفطام حتي عمر سنة. تقدير إنتاج اللبن أسبوعياً خلال موسمين (شتوي – صيفي ). تم عمل تجربة أقلمة لعدد ١٣ أنثي من الماعز الصعيدي. وجد فرق معنوي (P< 0.01) في عدد التلقيحات اللازمة للحمل بين موسم التلقيح الصيفي (٢,٣٣) و الشتوي (١,٤٥). كانت نسبة الخصوبة في الشتاء والصيف ١٠٠% في الماعز الصعيدي. كان معدل الإجهاض (١١.١ و صفر%) في الصيف والشتاء. كان حجم الخلفة ١,٨٨و ٦,٦٥ للماعز الصعيدي في الشتاء والصيف ، على التوالي. كان هناك فرق معنوي (P< 0.01) في طول دورة الشبق على مدى الفصول المختلفة (١٦,٤٧ و ١٨,٢٩ و ٢٠,٣٥ و ٣٧,٥٥ يوما) خلال الصيف والخريف والشتاء والربيع ، على التوالي. كان متوسط طول دورة الشبق للماعز الصعيدي ٢١,٩ يوما. لا يوجد فرق معنوي على مدى الفصول الأربعة في مدة الشبق فكانت في المتوسط ( ٣٠,٥٥ ساعة) خلال فصل الخريف و ( ٣٥,٧٩ ساعة) خلال فصل الصيف ، في مدي يتراوح بين ( ١٢ – ٧٢ ساعة). كان وزن الميلاد للجداء ١,٦١ كجم ، و الجداء الذكور أثقل من الإناث. وزن الفطام للجداء ٦,٧٢ كجم. متوسط نسبة نفوق الجداء من الولادة إلى الفطام في الصيف (٣٤,٥%) و (١٤,٣%) في الشتاء. أظهرت النتائج عدم وجود فروق معنوية (P<0.01) بين متوسطي إنتاج اللبن اليومي خلال موسمي الحليب ( ٧٧٣ جم / يوم شتاءاً – ٧٥١ جم / يوم صيفاً ). الأمهات التي ولدت خلال موسم الشتاء أعطت محصول لبن كلي ( ١٢٦,٩ كجم في موسم حليب طوله ١٦٢ يوم) أعلي من الأمهات التي ولدت خلال موسم الصيف (٨٩,٥ كجم في موسم حليب طوله ١١٩,٥ يوم) ، و كانت الفروق معنوية (P<0.01). أظهرت نتائج تجربة الأقلمة فروق معنوية (P<0.01) في دليل الحرارة و الرطوبة قبل ( ٧٣,٤٤ ) و بعد ( ٨٧,٢٣ ) التعريض لأشعة الشمس المباشرة ، مما يدل علي تعرض الحيوان للاجهاد الحراري الشديد أثناء التعريض لأشعة الشمس المباشرة. نتيجة ارتفاع درجة الحرارة المحيطة من ( ٢٨,٠١ مئوية قبل التعريض) إلي (٣٦,٧٠° مئوية بعد التغريض) ، حدث ارتفاع في درجة حرارة المستقيم من (٣٨,٩١° مئوية ) قبل التعريض إلي ( ٣٩,٩٩° مئوية ) بعد التعريض، ارتفعت درجة حرارة الجلد بمقدار ( ٤,٢٢° مئوية ) ، و ارتفعت درجة حرارة الأذن بقدار ( ٤,١٦° مئوية ) بعد التعريض. ارتفع معدل التنفس من ( ٢١,٥٤) إلي ( ٥٢,٠٩ مرة / دقيقة )، زاد حجم الغاز من ( ١,٥٨ لتر / دقيقة ) قبل التعريض إلي ( ٣,٠٣ لتر / دقيقة ) بعد التعريض بما يعادل زيادة. انخفض حجم الغاز في التنفسة الواحدة من (٧٢,٩٧ مللتر / تنفسة ) قبل التعريض إلي ( ٦١,٢٤ مللتر / تنفسة) بعد التعريض. يمكن ان نستنتج أن الماعز الصعيدي لديها قدرة عالية علي التأقلم مع ظروف الإجهاد الحراري الشديدة . و بالرغم من إن الماعز الصعيدي هي سلالة ماعز صغيرة الحجم إلا أنها ذات أداء إنتاجي وتناسلي جيد، فلديها قدرة جيدة على التناسل على مدار العام ، كما تتميز بمعدلات نمو عالية. إنتاج الحليب لديهم يكفي لإرضاع الجداء بالإضافة إلى كمية من الحليب الفائض. |
