| Summary, etc. | This research investigates the effectiveness of a strategy based on McCarthy's model to enhance English writing skills among preparatory stage pupils. The sample consisted of 60 pupils divided into two intact groups: an experimental group (30 pupils) and a control group (30 pupils).A quasi-experimental design was employed, with the experimental group receiving instruction based on the suggested strategy incorporating McCarthy's Model, while the control group followed traditional writing instruction. Data collection instruments included a checklist for evaluating paragraph and email writing, a learning styles questionnaire, a pre-posttest on paragraph and email writing skills, and a scoring rubric. The findings revealed a statistically significant improvement in the writing skills of the experimental group compared to the control group, specifically in both paragraph and email writing. The most notable improvements were observed in the paragraph and email layouts, which were more organized and clearer in the experimental group compared to those in the control group. The study advocates for the broader implementation of this strategy in education to improve academic outcomes. |

| Summary, etc. | تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى استكشاف فعالية استخدام نموذج مكارثي في تنمية مهارات الكتابة في اللغة الإنجليزية لطلاب المرحلة الإعدادية. الهدف من الدراسة هو تقييم تأثير هذه الاستراتيجية على أداء الطلاب في الكتابة. تكونت عينة الدراسة من 60 تلميذة من المرحلة الإعدادية، تم تقسيمهم إلى مجموعتين: مجموعة تجريبية (30 تلميذة) ومجموعة ضابطة (30 تلميذة). تم استخدام تصميم شبه تجريبي، حيث تلقت المجموعة التجريبية تعليمًا يعتمد على الاستراتيجية المقترحة القائمة علي نموذج مكارثي، بينما تلقت المجموعة الضابطة تعليمًا تقليديًا في الكتابة تضمنت أدوات جمع البيانات قائمة تدقيق لكتابة الفقرات والبريد الإلكتروني، استبيان لأساليب التعلم، اختبار قبلي وبعدي لكتابة الفقرات والبريد الإلكتروني، مقياس تصحيح. تم تحليل عينات الكتابة وفقًا لعدة جوانب مثل المحتوى، والتنظيم، والمفردات، والآليات. أظهرت النتائج تحسنًا كبيرًا في مهارات الكتابة لدى المجموعة التجريبية. توصي الدراسة بتطبيق هذه الاستراتيجية في التعليم. |
