| Summary, etc. | هدفت الدراسة إلى التحقق من فاعلية برنامج إرشادى لتنمية بعض المهارات الحياتية للمقبلين على الزواج فى توقعاتهم الزوجية، واستخدمت الدراسة المنهج التجريبى، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (16) فتاة من المقبلين على الزواج، ممن تتراوح أعمارهم بين(22: 24) عامًا، وتتراوح مدة الخطوبة بين (خمس شهور: سنة)، وتم تقسيمهم إلى مجموعتين: مجموعة تجريبية( عددها 8 فتيات)، ومجموعة ضابطة( عدد أفرادها 8 فتيات). وتضمنت أدوات الدراسة مقياس المهارات الحياتية( إعداد الباحثة)، مقياس التوقعات الزوجية إعداد (MES: Jones& Nelson, 1997) ترجمة الباحثة، والبرنامج الإرشادى (إعدادالباحثة). وأشارت النتائج إلى وجود فروق بين المجموعة التجريبية والمجموعة الضابطة فى المهارات الحياتية والتوقعات الزوجية الواقعية فى إتجاه المجموعة التجريبية، ووجود فروق فى التوقعات الزوجية المثالية والمتشائمة فى إتجاه المجموعة الضابطة، مما يؤكد على فاعلية برنامج الدراسة. |

| Summary, etc. | The study aimed to verify the effectiveness of a counseling program to develop some life skills for premarital couples in their marital expectations. The study used the experimental approach, and the study sample consisted of (16) girls about to get married, whose ages ranged between (22: 24) years, and the engagement period ranged between (five months: one year). They were divided into two groups: an experimental group (8 girls), and a control group (8 girls). The study tools included the life skills scale (prepared by the researcher), the marital expectations scale prepared by (MES: Jones & Nelson, 1997) translated by the researcher, and the guidance program (prepared by the researcher). The results indicated that there were differences between the experimental group and the control group in life skills and realistic marital expectations in the direction of the experimental group, and there were differences in ideal and pessimistic marital expectations in the direction of the control group, which confirms the effectiveness of the study program. |
