| Summary, etc. | Purpose: This study was conducted to investigate the impact of postural balance changes on low back pain during pregnancy.Subjects and Methods: Forty pregnant women with low back pain participated in this study. Their ages ranged from 20 to 35 years, and their body mass index ranged from 25to 35 kg/m2. they were selected from outpatient clinic of physical therapy in October 6 university. Duration from August 2024 to February 2025.Subjects were divided into two groups (A&B), twenty in each group. Group (A) primigravida in their 2ndtrimester and were followed up into their 3rdtrimester, while group(B) multigravida in their 2ndtrimester and were also followed up into their 3rd trimester.Balance was evaluatedby using Biodex balance system, pain pressure threshold was evaluated by usinghandheld pressure algometer,andlow back pain intensity was evaluated by using visual analogue scale. The results of the present work revealed that there was significant decrease in postural balance stability and pain pressure threshold in 3rd trimester compared to 2nd trimester (p = 0.001) in both primigravida and multigravida. but there was a significant increase in VAS in the 3rd trimester compared with the 2ndtrimester (p = 0.001).The results of comparing postural balance changes between primigravida and multigravida groups in second and third trimestersrevealed that there was no significant difference in postural balance, PPT and VAS between primigravida and multigravida in second and third trimesters (p =0.18), (p=0.13). (p=0.66). (p=0.33). (p=0.14). (p=0.38) respectively.<br/>Conclusion: Our results suggest that postural balance decreases in the third trimester and thus increases the low back pain. |

| Summary, etc. | الهدف: أُجريت هذه الدراسة لمعرفه تأثير تغيرات الاتزان الوضعي على آلام أسفل الظهر أثناء الحمل. شملت الدراسة أربعين سيده يعانون من آلام أسفل الظهر. تراوحت أعمارهن بين 20 و35 عامًا، وتراوح مؤشر كتلة الجسم لديهن بين 25الي 35 كجم/م². تم اختيارهن من العيادة الخارجية للعلاج الطبيعي بجامعة 6 أكتوبر، خلال الفترة من أغسطس 2024 إلى فبراير 2025. قُسِّمت المشاركات إلى مجموعتين (أ، ب)، ضمت كل مجموعة عشرين سيده. المجموعة (أ) الحوامل لأول مرة في الثلث الثاني و تمت متابعتهن حتي الثلث الثالث من الحمل بينما المجموعة (ب) الحوامل لأكثر من مرة في الثلث الثاني و تمت متابعتهن حتى الثلث الثالث من الحمل. تم تقييم البيانات التي تم الحصول عليها من كلا المجموعتين بعد التقييم بواسطة نظام التوازن بيودكس، مقياس التناظر البصري ومقياس قوه تحمل الالم بالضغط. كشفت نتائج هذا العمل عن وجود انخفاض ذو دلاله احصائيه في مؤشر التوازن الوضعي واختبار قوه تحمل الالم بالضغط لدى السيدات الحوامل في الثلث الثالث من الحمل مقارنة بالثلث الثاني (القيمة المحتملة= 0.001)ولكن كان هناك زيادة ذات دلاله احصائيه في اختبار مقياس التناظر البصري في الثلث الثالث من الحمل مقارنة بالثلث الثاني (القيمة المحتملة =0.001) كشفت نتائج مقارنة التغيرات في التوازن الوضعي بين مجموعات الحوامل لأول مرة والنساء الحوامل لأكثر من مرة في الثلث الثاني والثالث من الحمل أنه لا يوجد فرق كبير في التوازن الوضعي واختبار قوه تحمل الالم بالضغط واختبار التناظر البصري بين الحوامل لأول مرة والنساء الحوامل لأكثر من مرة في الثلث الثاني والثالث من الحمل(القيمة المحتملة= 0.38)، (القيمة المحتملة= 0.14)، (القيمة المحتملة= 0.33)، (القيمة المحتملة= 0.66)، (القيمة المحتملة= 0.13)، (القيمة المحتملة= 0.18)على التوالي.<br/>الخلاصة: بناءا على النتائج التي تم الحصول عليها من هذه الدراسه ، يمكن ان نستنتج أن مؤشر التوازن الوضعي ينخفض في الثلث الثالث من الحمل، مما يزيد من آلام أسفل الظهر. |
