| Summary, etc. | The thesis is composed of an introductory part (literature survey) besides the original work. The literature survey comprehensively covered the potential of Michael addition as an access to a diversity of heterocycles with a special focus on the concept of multicomponent reactions. In the original work of this thesis, a new azaenamine bearing N-carbamimidoyl-benzenesulfonamide was prepared. The reactivity of this azaenamine towards arylidene malononitrile derivatives, 2-((1H-indol-3-yl)methylene)malononitrile, and substituted ((pyrazol-4-yl)methylene) malononitrile derivatives was further investigated. The reactions led to the formation of 3,4-dihydrophthalazine-6-carbonitriles rather than the anticipated 1,4-dihydropyridazine structures. However, the reaction of N-carbamimidoyl-benzenesulfonamide-derived azaenamine with arylidene malononitrile bearing morpholine or piperidine residues at para- position to the aldehydic group afforded the expected 1,4-dihydropyridazine products. The newly synthesized products are all verified by the different spectral data and the elemental analyses. Theoretical docking studies of the newly synthesized compounds with three anti-apoptotic proteins (BCL-2, BCL- XL, and MCL-1) have been carried out for a possible application as anticancer agents. |

| Summary, etc. | تتألف هذه الرسالة من جزء تمهيدي )دراسة استقصائية( بالإضافة إلى العمل الأصيل للرسالة. غطّى الجزء التمهيدي بشكل شامل إمكانية إضافة مايكل كوسيلة للوصول إلى مجموعة متنوعة من الحلقات غير المتجانسة، مع التركيز بشكل خاص على مفهوم التفاعلات متعددة المكونات. أما في هذه الرسالة، فقد تم تحضير أزاينامين جديد يحمل –N-كارباميميدويل-بنزين سلفوناميد. ودُرست تفاعلية هذا الأزاينامين مع مشتقات أريليدين مالونونيتريل، و-H1))-2إندول-3-يل(ميثيلين(مالونونيتريل، ومشتقات مالونونيتريل ))بيرازول-4-يل(ميثيلين( المستبدلة. أدت هذه التفاعلات إلى تكوين مركبات 4،-3ثنائي هيدروفثالازين-6-كربونيتريل بدلًا من هياكل 4،-1ثنائي هيدروبيريدازين المتوقعة. ومع ذلك، فإن تفاعل أزاينامين المشتق من -Nكارباميميدويل-بنزين سلفوناميد مع بقايا مورفالين أو بيبيريدين تحمل مالونونيتريل أريليدين عند موضع بارا للمجموعة الألدهيدية، أدى إلى إنتاج نواتج 4،-1ثنائي هيدروبيريدازين المتوقعة. وقد تم التحقق من جميع النواتج المُصنّعة حديثاً من خلال البيانات الطيفية المختلفة والتحليلات العنصرية. وقد أُجريت دراسات إرساء نظرية للمركبات المُصنّعة حديثاً مع ثلاثة بروتينات مضادة للموت الخلوي BCL-2)، وBCL-XL، و(MCL-1 لاستخدامها كعوامل مضادة للسرطان. |
