| Summary, etc. | Background: Blood Flow Restriction exercise (BFRE) combines low-intensity exercise reduced blood flow to muscles aiming to improve vascular function and muscle strength of patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD). Objective: this review aimed to summarize the evidence on the effectiveness of BFR exercises in patients with CKD. Methods: A literature search was conducted across PubMed, Cochrane and PEDro database, lastly updated in January 2025. Search results were limited to RCTs published within the last 10 years investigating BFRE with standard exercises for patients with CKD aged ≥45 years, 3 outcomes were selected Estimated Glomerular Filtration Rate (eGFR), muscle strength and forearm circumference. Quality of studies was assessed by using PEDro scale, and the level of evidence was determined by the modified Sackett's scale. Results: six studies were selected and reviewed; they included 454 patients. The studies had a mean PEDro score of 5.2 and its meta-analyses showed non-significant difference between BFRE and standard training regarding renal function, muscle strength and forearm circumference. Conclusion: Limited evidence is present to support the adding of BFR to standard training for renal function in patients with CKD and strong evidence support its non-significant effect on strength and forearm circumference. Confirmation of this evidence requires more high quality research. |

| Summary, etc. | تهدف هذه المراجعة المنهجيه الى العثور على الادله الحاليه حول تاثير اضافه تمارين تقيد تدفق الدم لمرضى الكلى المزمن تم التحقيق في ثلاث قواعد بيانات الكترونيه من التجارب ذات الشواهد ذات الصله وتم استخدام الكلمات الرئيسيه التاليه في البحث مرض الكلى - وظائف الكلى-قوه العضله- قياس محيط اليد تمارين- تقيد تدفق الدم.<br/>طرق البحث: اقتصر البحث على التجارب ذات الشواهد على مرضى الكلى المزمن من عمر خمسه واربعون وما فوق. وشملت الدراسات الست 447 مريضا بمرض الكلى المزمن . تم استخراج البيانات من الدراسات المشموله من قبل باحثين مستقلين واذا كان الخلاف موجودا، تمت استشاره باحث ثالث، تم تقيم الجوده المنهجيه لدراسات المشموله، تراوحه درجات الجوده من الجوده العادله الى الجيده . تم تحديد مستوى الادله المحدوده في حال استخدام تمارين تتدفق الدم لمرضى الكلى المزمن وايجاد الادله الداعمه لعدم تفوق اضافه تمارين تقييد تدفق الدم لمرضى الكلى المزمن وفقا لمقاييس ساكيت المعدل وكان التحليل غير قابل للتطبيق في ثلاث نتائج، قوة العضله، وظائف الكلى ومحيط اليدين اظهر التحليل البعدي بعدم وجود فرقا كبيرا في حاله اضافه تمارين تقيد الدم وبين التمارين الاعتياديه على مرضى الكلى المزمن، وكان ليس له دلاله احصائيه<br/>النتائج: تمت مراجعة ستة مقالات بمجموع 447 مريضاً بمرض الكلى المزمن وقد توفر مستوى يتراوح من محدود إلى قوى من أدلة دعم فاعلية إضافة منع تدفق الدم بشكل جزئى في التمارين إلى مرضى الكلى المزمن وفقاً لمقياس ساكت المعدل. تم إجراء التحليل البعدى في الدراسات، وقد أظهرت النتائج أنه لا يوجد أي فرق في الدلالة الإحصائية بين المجموعتين في قوة العضلة أو في حالة قياس كنتور اليد أو في حالة وظائف الكلى (الثلاثة لم يبينوا أي فرق في الإحصاء).<br/>قدمت هذه المراجعة المنهجية دلالة تتراوح من محدودة إلى قوية تدعم أن إضافة منع تدفق الدم الجزئى في حالات علاج مرضى الكلى المزمن مقارنة باستخدام العلاج التقليدي وحده وتتطلب تأكيد هذه الأدلة تجارب أكثر ذات جودة عالية أكبر. |
