| Summary, etc. | Background: Flexible flatfoot is a common deformity in adults that has been correlated to the development of back pain and many lower limb injuries through a distal to proximal pathomechanical chain. It is proven that flatfoot has a strong correlation with lumber and thoracic sagittal curves. However, to our knowledge, limited studies had evaluated the effect of flatfoot on cervical sagittal alignment. Purpose of the study: To investigate the effects of bilateral flexible flatfeet on sagittal spinal alignment (craniovertebral angle,cervical lordosis angle,thoracic kyphosis angle,and lumber lordosis angle). Subjects: Twenty-six subjects with bilateral flexible flatfeet (study group) were compared with Twenty-six subjects without flatfeet (control group). Methods: Navicular drop test (NDT) was used to evaluate the medial longitudinal arch (MLA). Kinovea software was used to evaluate spinal sagittal alignment. Results: There was no significant difference observed in (CVA) between the study and control groups. However, there was a significant increase in CLA, (THKA), and (LLA) of group A compared with that of group B. Conclusion: A significant increase in sagittal spinal curves (cervical lordosis, thoracic kyphosis and lumber lordosis) were observed in subjects with bilateral flexible flatfeet with non-significant changes in craniovertebral angle (CVA). |

| Summary, etc. | الخلفية : القدم المسطحة المرنة هي تشوه شائع بين البالغين وقد تم ربطها بتطور العديد من إصابات الأطراف السفلية وآلام الظهر عبر نموذج مرضي ميكانيكي من الاسفل الي الاعلي. لقد ثبت أن القدم المسطحة لها ارتباط قوي مع الانحناءات السهمية للعمود الفقري القطني والصدر. وبالرغم من ذلك لم تقم أي دراسة بتقييم تأثير القدم المسطحة على محاذاة العمود الفقري العنقي في المستوى السهمي.<br/>هدف الدراسة : التحقق من تأثير القدم المسطحة المرنة على محاذاة العمود الفقري في المستوى السهمي.<br/>العينة: تم مقارنة 26 شخصًا يعانون من القدم المسطحة المرنة (مجموعة الدراسة) مع 26 شخصًا طبيعيًا (مجموعة التحكم)<br/>الطرق: اختبار انخفاض العظم الزورقي : تم استخدامه لتقييم القوس الطولي الإنسي . برنامج كينوفيا : تم استخدامه لتقييم محاذاة العمود الفقري في المستوى السهمي.<br/>النتائج: لم يُلاحظ اختلاف ذو دلالة إحصائية في زاوية القذالية الفقرية بين مجموعتي الدراسة والتحكم (P>0.05).ز لوحظت زيادة كبيرة في زاوية اللوردوسية العنقية ، وزاوية السييفية الصدرية ، وزاوية اللوردوسية القطنية في المجموعة (أ) مقارنة بالمجموعة (ب (P<0.01).<br/>الاستنتاج: تمت ملاحظة زيادة في زوايا انحناءات العمود الفقري لدى الأشخاص الذين يعانون من القدم المسطحة المرنة الثنائية. |
