| Summary, etc. | Introduction: The human foot serves to balance the individual directly or indirectly during a variety of static and dynamic activities. It has been believed that poor foot alignment, such as severe subtalar joint pronation, is a contributing factor to back, knee, and leg pain. Lumbar repositioning accuracy was found to be affected around 30° of trunk flexion in chronic nonspecific low back pain (cnslbp) subjects. Aim of work: The study aimed to identify the relationship between flexible flat foot and lumbar proprioception. Patients and Methods: fifty seven participants (both male and female) was selected, the flexible flat foot group participants (29) and the control group include (28) normal participants. Their ages ranges 17 -35 years, were recruited for this observational cross section study from faculty of physical therapy, Cairo University. Flexible flat foot was assessed by navicular drop test (NDT) and lumbar proprioception was evaluated by the Biodex system 3 pro isokinetic dynamometer. Results: there was a significant difference in NDT between both groups (p<0.001). Also, there was a significant difference in lumbar joint position error between both groups (p<0.001). Conclusion: Individuals with flexible flat foot display deficit in lumbar proprioception. |

| Summary, etc. | المقدمة: يعمل القدم البشري على تحقيق توازن الجسم بشكل مباشر أو غير مباشر أثناء مجموعة متنوعة من الأنشطة الثابتة والمتحركة. وقد تم الاعتقاد بأن سوء محاذاة القدم، مثل فرط الكبّ في مفصل الكاحل، يُعد عاملًا مساهمًا في آلام الظهر والركبة والساق. كما وُجد أن دقة إعادة التموضع القطني تتأثر عند زاوية 30 درجة من انثناء الجذع لدى الأشخاص المصابين بآلام أسفل الظهر المزمنة غير المحددة. هدف الدراسة: هدفت الدراسة إلى تحديد العلاقة بين القدم المسطحة المرنة ولاستقبال الحسي العميق القطني (الاستقبال الحسي الذاتي).المرضى والطريقة: تم اختيار 57 مشاركًا من الذكور والإناث. شملت مجموعة القدم المسطحة المرنة 28 مشاركًا، بينما ضمّت المجموعة الضابطة (الطبيعية) 29 مشاركًا طبيعيًا، تراوحت أعمارهم بين 17 و35 عامًا. تم تجنيد المشاركين لهذه الدراسة الرصدية من كلية العلاج الطبيعي بجامعة القاهرة .تم تقييم القدم المسطحة المرنة باستخدام اختبار هبوط العظم الزورقي ، وتم تقييم الاستقبال الحسي العميق القطني باستخدام جهاز الايزوكينتك . النتائج: أظهرت النتائج وجود فرق معنوي في اختبار هبوط العظم الزورقي بين المجموعتين، كما وُجد فرق معنوي في خطأ إعادة تموضع المفصل القطني بين المجموعتين. الاستنتاج: الأفراد الذين يعانون من القدم المسطحة المرنة يُظهرون قصورًا في الاستقبال الحسي العميق القطني . |
