Summary, etc. This thesis focuses on pesticides removal from aqueous solutions using different types of nanoparticles. Two pesticides were studied. The first one is atrazine (AT), while the second is fenitrothion (FEN). Different analytical methods (spectroscopic and chromatographic) have been discussed and applied for the determination of the removal percentage of standard pesticides.<br/>This thesis contains 4 parts:<br/>• Part one: General introduction and literature review.<br/>• Part two: Adsorptive removal of pesticides from aqueous solutions using chitosan/gelatin polymeric composite: Process monitoring and optimization.<br/>• Part three: Optimization of chitosan / cellulose acetate polymeric nanofilm for adsorptive removal of fenitrothion pesticide from water. <br/>• Part four: Removal of fenitrothion and atrazine using magnetite coated with chitosan and polydopamine.

Summary, etc. إن استخدام المبيدات الحشرية موجود على نطاق واسع في البيئة المحيطة بنا مما جعله احد اهم الاسباب الرئيسية للتلوث البيئي. ولذلك فإن تحديد المبيدات ومعالجتها في البيئة تعتبر من العمليات الهامة. ولا شك أن التحديد الكمي يجب أن يكون بطرق تحليلية معتمدة.<br/>وبالطبع من الأفضل التخلص من المبيدات الحشرية من خلال طرق صديقة للبيئة وفعالة اقتصاديا.<br/>ولذلك تستعرض هذه الرسالة طرق تحليلية مختلفة كالكروماتوجرافيا و مقياس الطيف الضوئي فى محاولة لاستنتاج طرق جديدة تتميز بالدقة والحساسية والسرعة. كما تستعرض بعض امثلة المواد النانومترية لإزالة هذه المبيدات من المياه.<br/>وتحتوي هذه الرسالة على أربعة أجزاء تتضمن مقدمة عامة ونظرة على التراث العلمي والدراسة العملية لاستخدام نوعين من الجزيئات النانومترية في إزالة المبيدات من المياه وطرق تحليلية كمية لها وبعض الامثلة الأخرى للجزيئات النانومترية وكذلك المراجع والملخص العربي.
