| Summary, etc. | An experimental study was carried out to evaluate the influence of graphene nanoplates <br/>on the mechanical performance of reinforced concrete beams. The investigation <br/>involved preparing five different concrete mix designs, each with a distinct dosage of <br/>graphene nanoplates: 0%, 0.02%, 0.04%, 0.1%, and 0.3%. These varying <br/>concentrations were introduced to assess their impact on the structural behavior of the <br/>beams. The results clearly demonstrated that the inclusion of graphene nanoplates had a <br/>noticeable effect on several mechanical characteristics of the concrete. Significant <br/>improvements were observed in both the flexural and shear behavior of the beams, <br/>highlighting the role of graphene in enhancing strength and performance. Furthermore, <br/>the study also focused on the ductility and stiffness of the tested beams, providing a <br/>comprehensive analysis of how graphene reinforcement contributes to the overall <br/>structural behavior. |
