| Summary, etc. | تتبين أهمية البحث في عرض إطار تقييمي لعملية التفاعل الاجتماعي التي تحدث في الفراغ العمراني العام ودراسة تأثير أعمال الفن العام (public art) عليها، وتعتمد عناصر التقييم على الربط بين العناصر الكمية الاجتماعية لصناعة المكان الناجح طبقاً لمنظمة Project for public spaces (PPS) وأسس تنسيق أعمال الفن العام في الفراغ العمراني، ويتم تحليل حالات دراسية عالمية من خلال الإطار التقييمي الذي تم استنتاجه في الإطار النظري لقياس مدى تحقق التفاعل الاجتماعي في الفراغات التي تم اختيارها والخروج بعناصر تقييمية أخرى يمكن اضافتها للإطار. كذلك يعرض البحث حالة دراسية لأحد فراغات مدينة أسوان لتطبيق ما تم دراسته والخروج بالنتائج والتوصيات الرئيسية للرسالة. |

| Summary, etc. | The literature on public art and its aesthetics often neglects the significant social role it plays in revitalizing urban spaces and transforming them into vibrant public areas. This research aims to study the impact of public art on urban spaces and its effective role in enhancing social interaction among users of these spaces, including women, children, the elderly, families, and others. They will focus on the organizational foundations of public art installations and the elements of social interaction according to the successful place-making model of the Project for Public Spaces (PPS). This study will analyze the relationship between public art and social interaction elements while evaluating user responses to various types of public art, such as murals, sculptures, fountains, and furniture. It will provide an evaluative framework to measure the effectiveness of public art on social factors, such as the diverse social groups, safety, attachment, and sense of place. Furthermore, the research will show case studies from global cities to illustrate the effective role of public art in activating urban spaces, fostering social interaction, and contributing to place-making. Finally, the study will offer recommendations for enhancing urban spaces and increasing social interaction by integrating public art elements in an attractive and inspiring way. |
