| Summary, etc. | The incidence of breast cancer has increased substantially in recent years. <br/>Using both conventional ultrasound and shear wave elastography in <br/>distinguishing malignant from benign breast lesions, the combined <br/>analysis of both conventional US-BIRADS and quantitative SWE (lesion <br/>elasticity) had sensitivity of 98.3%, specificity of 92.2%, positive <br/>predictive value of 89.93%, negative predictive value of 98.8% and <br/>accuracy of 95.25%. Conclusion: Adding quantitative SWE (Lesion <br/>Stiffness/kPa) to conventional U/S BIRADS, improves the specificity and <br/>overall diagnostic accuracy in small breast masses. |

| Summary, etc. | يعتبر سرطان الثدي عند النساء أكثر الأمراض انتشارًا التي تهدد الحياة وثاني سبب رئيسي للوفاة من السرطان. أنسجة سرطان الثدي اكثر صلابة من أنسجة الثدي الطبيعية وأنسجة الورم الحميد، ويعتقد أن عملية التصلب تبدأ في المرحلة المبكرة من السرطان. ولقد تم استخدام معلومات الصلابة هذه لتصنيف أورام الثدي، عندما تم تطوير التصوير الإلستوجرافي لموجة القص كطريقة فعالة جديدة غير جراحية وغير مكلفة لتصور الخصائص المرنة لأنسجة الثدي .<br/>في الوقت الحاضر، أصبحت الموجات فوق الصوتية للثدي وسيلة لا تقدر بثمن للكشف عن الآفات، وخاصة عند النساء ذوات الثديين الكثيفين. ومع ذلك، هناك تداخل كبير في سمات الموجات الصوتية بين الآفات الحميدة والخبيثة. لذلك، لا يزال يتم إجراء عدد كبير من الخزعات للآفات الحميدة. تشير العديد من الدراسات الحديثة إلى أن التصوير الإلستوجرافي لموجة القص يحسن دقة تشخيص الموجات الصوتية في تشخيص آفات الثدي. |
