| Summary, etc. | This research investigated the development of a training environment based on <br/>an Augmented Intelligence Tutor (AuIT) to enhance translation technology skills <br/>and manage cognitive load among languages and translation students. A quasi-<br/>experimental design was employed on one group consisting of 25 undergraduate <br/>students enrolled in the Department of Languages and Translation at October 6 <br/>University during the academic year 2024-2025. The AuIT-based environment <br/>utilised a unified identity AI avatar in collaboration with a human expert to <br/>support the learning process. Pre and post-test and note card for translation <br/>technology skills, along with a germane cognitive load questionnaire, were <br/>administered to assess changes in technical competence and mental effort. The <br/>findings revealed a significant improvement in students’ proficiency in <br/>translation technologies, particularly in cognitive and performance domains, <br/>along with an increase in germane load. These results suggest that AuIT can serve <br/>as an impactful pedagogical tool in translator education by promoting <br/>technological skill development and enhancing cognitive efficiency. The research <br/>recommends integrating AuI in education and designing training environments <br/>using AuI to promote GCL. |

| Summary, etc. | هدف هذا البحث إلى تطويربيئة تدريبية قائمة على معلم الذكاء المعزَّز لتعزيز مهارات استخدام تكنولوجيا الترجمة وإدارة الحِمل المعرفي لدى طلاب قسم اللغات والترجمة. تم تطبيق التصميم شبه التجريبي على مجموعة واحدة مكونة من 25 طالبًا من طلاب المرحلة الجامعية الثانية في قسم اللغة الإنجليزية بكلية اللغات والترجمة بجامعة 6 أكتوبر. استخدمت البيئة التدريبية المعتمدة على معلم الذكاء المعزَّز هوية موحدة عبر شخصية رقمية ذكية تعمل بالتكامل مع خبير بشري لدعم عملية التعلم. تم إجراء اختبار تحصيل وبطاقة ملاحظةلمهارات تكنولوجيا الترجمة، إلى جانب استبيانلقياس الحِمل المعرفي البنّاء لتقييم التغيرات في الكفاءة التقنية والجهد الذهني. وقد أظهرت النتائج تحسنًا ملحوظًا في مهارات استخدام تكنولوجيا الترجمة لدى الطلاب، خاصة في الجوانب المعرفية والأدائية، إلى جانب زيادة في الحِمل المعرفي البنّاء. تشير هذه النتائج إلى أن معلم الذكاء المعزَّز يمكن أن يكون أداة تعليمية مؤثرة في تعليم مهارات الترجمة، من خلال تطوير المهارات التقنية وتحسين الكفاءة المعرفية. ويوصي هذا البحث بتضمين الذكاء المعزَّز في التعليم وتصميم بيئات تدريبية تعتمد عليه لتعزيز الحِمل المعرفي البنّاء |
