| Summary, etc. | سعت الدراسة إلى رصد وتحليل دور البعد المذهبي والمصلحة القومية في السياسة الخارجية الإيرانية تجاه المنطقة العربية منذ الغزو الأمريكي للعراق في عام 2003. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى أن السياسة الخارجية الإيرانية ترسمها اعتبارات المصلحة الوطنية، فإيران تغلب المصالح علي الأيديولوجيا حال تعارضهما معًا، وتتعامل ببراجماتية مع القضايا ذات الصلة بالسياسة العليا، وتوظف المذهب الشيعي حين تقتضي ذلك المصلحة الوطنية لها.<br/>وانتهت الدراسة إلى أن الاعتبارات الداخلية الاقتصادية والعسكرية والأمنية وكذا العوامل الخارجية تشكّل محددات مهمة فى توجيه السياسة الخارجية الإيرانية، ويرتبط تأثيرها برؤية وإدراك صانع القرار الإيراني لمصالح الدولة وحجم المخاطر المحيطة بها. وأوصت الدراسة فى ضوء نتائجها بضرورة تغيير إيران والدول العربية لغة الخطاب المتبادل ليقوم على فكرة التقارب المصلحي وليس العداء المذهبي، وأن يكون الحوار مرتبطًا بقضايا تهم المنطقة، وأن يكون هناك ضمانات لإلتزام الطرفين بما سيتم التوصل إليه من التزامات. |

| Summary, etc. | The study aimed to monitor and analyze the role of sectarian dimensions and national interest in Iranian foreign policy towards the Arab region since the American invasion of Iraq in 2003. The study concluded that Iranian foreign policy is shaped by considerations of national interest, as Iran prioritizes interests over ideology when they conflict, and adopts a pragmatic approach to issues related to high politics, utilizing the Shiite sect when it serves its national interests.The study found that internal economic, military, and security considerations, as well as external factors, constitute important determinants in directing Iranian foreign policy, and their influence is linked to the Iranian decision-maker's perception of the state's interests and the magnitude of surrounding risks. The study recommended, in light of its findings, that Iran and Arab countries change the language of mutual discourse to be based on the idea of mutual interests rather than sectarian hostility, that dialogue should be related to issues of concern to the region, and that there should be guarantees for both parties to adhere to the commitments reached. |
