| Summary, etc. | This research provides a systematic review of literature pertaining to CEO characteristics and its <br/>effect on strategic decision-making process firms. The CEO of a firm provides critical leadership, <br/>social capital, and legitimacy, and as such exerts significant influence on firm performance. This <br/>field has developed from a few Upper Echelon Theory publications into four distinct categories. <br/>We review each of these to identify the main contributions to this research area and to outline <br/>research gaps and future research trends. <br/>CEO’s psychological traits and leadership is affecting the organizational effectiveness, however <br/>the top management traits and leadership have also a significant influence on the organization <br/>performance, By using direct measures of psychological traits and leadership capabilities, we <br/>found that not only the offensive levels of conscientiousness among the top management <br/>members resulted in organizational performance decline but the CEO conscientiousness and <br/>transformational leadership is related and clearly affect the strategic decision making process as <br/>well. So the collective commitment to the organization and its financial performance are highly <br/>associated with higher levels of transformational conscientiousness of both the CEO’s and Top <br/>management. <br/>This study is focusing on the importance of psychological traits and its impact on The Strategic <br/>Decision-Making Process, and it is not only the leadership characters that ensure the success, but <br/>the influence of the psychological traits on the personal characters and the transformational <br/>conscientiousness of the leaders are highly associated with Strategic Decision-Making Process <br/>and the organizational performance. <br/>The research became performed through descriptive design and the researcher used this method <br/>to be able to describe, and to investigate the effect of psychological traits of CEOs on The <br/>Strategic Decision-Making Process. <br/> using data collected from the questionnaire with 160 responses were gathered from several <br/>industries and valid for statistical analysis, the correlation design used to set up the relationship <br/>among the independent and dependent variable through quantifiable results <br/>The findings highlight that CEO's & top Management seniors have a mandatory effect in strategic <br/>decision-making process and accordingly have a direct impact on the organizational performance |

| Summary, etc. | قدم هذا البحث مراجعة منهجية للأدبيات المتعلقة بخصائص الرئيس التنفيذي وتأثيرها على شركات عملية صنع القرار الاستراتيجي. يوفر الرئيس التنفيذي للشركة القيادة الهامة ورأس المال الاجتماعي والشرعية ، وبالتالي يمارس تأثيرا كبيرا على أداء الشركة,تطور هذا المجال من عدد قليل من منشورات نظرية المستوى الأعلى إلى أربع فئات متميزة. نقوم بمراجعة كل منها لتحديد المساهمات الرئيسية في هذا المجال البحثي وتحديد الفجوات البحثية واتجاهات البحث المستقبلية.<br/>تؤثر السمات النفسية للرئيس التنفيذي وقيادته على الفعالية التنظيمية ، ومع ذلك فإن سمات الإدارة العليا والقيادة لها أيضا تأثير كبير على أداء المنظمة ، باستخدام المقاييس المباشرة للسمات النفسية والقدرات القيادية ، وجدنا أنه ليس فقط المستويات الهجومية بين أعضاء الإدارة العليا أدت إلى انخفاض الأداء التنظيمي ولكن ضمير الرئيس التنفيذي ايضا.<br/>تركز هذه الدراسة على أهمية السمات النفسية وأثرها على عملية صنع القرار الاستراتيجي ، وليست الشخصيات القيادية فقط هي التي تضمن النجاح ، ولكن تأثير السمات النفسية على الشخصيات والضمير التحويلي للقادة يرتبط ارتباطا وثيقا بعملية صنع القرار الاستراتيجي والأداء التنظيمي.<br/>.تم إجراء البحث من خلال التصميم الوصفي واستخدم الباحث هذه الطريقة ليكون قادرا على الوصف والتحقيق في تأثير السمات النفسية للرؤساء التنفيذيين على عملية صنع القرار الاستراتيجي.<br/>باستخدام البيانات التي تم جمعها من الاستبيان مع 160 ردا تم جمعها من عدة صناعات وصالحة للتحليل الإحصائي ، استخدم تصميم الارتباط لإنشاء العلاقة بين المتغير المستقل والتابع من خلال نتائج قابلة للقياس الكمي.<br/>تسلط النتائج الضوء على أن كبار الرؤساء التنفيذيين وكبار الإدارة لديهم تأثير إلزامي في عملية صنع القرار الاستراتيجي وبالتالي يكون لهم تأثير مباشر على الأداء التنظيمي. |
