| Summary, etc. | The quest for inclusive growth has taken a pivotal position in development economics research with the objective of making economic growth benefits widely shared across various segments of society. This thesis examines the key determinants of inclusive growth and applying Egypt as a case study for the years 1991-2025. The research is organized into three principal chapters. Chapter One delineates the theoretical and conceptual underpinnings of inclusive growth, charting its development in the discourse of development and examining principal academic and institutional definitions. It also identifies the differences between inclusive growth and other allied notions of growth, while simultaneously outlining the principal approaches through which it is evaluated. Chapter Two explores the intricacy of Egypt's economic growth during the past four decades, analyzing key policy shifts, reforms, and issues that have influenced the trajectory of the nation's development. Particular emphasis is placed on Egypt's experience in fostering inclusive growth, such as national strategies and issues encountered in attaining equitable development results. Chapter Three presents the empirical analysis, using an Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) model in examining both the long-run and short-run effects of a number of key variables human capital, foreign direct investment, trade openness, inflation, unemployment, population growth, and broad money supply on inclusive growth.<br/>The empirical findings show that human capital, and financial deepening have positively and statistically significantly influenced inclusive growth in Egypt. Inflation, unemployment, and population growth, however, negatively influenced the performance of inclusive growth. Though policy reforms and specific interventions have been introduced, the results indicate that long-run structural economic problems and institutional inefficiencies still bind the achievement of overall inclusive growth. The thesis concludes with a set of policy proposals to enhance human capital, reinforce financial inclusion, increase macroeconomic stability, and refine governance systems to create a more inclusive and sustainable development path for Egypt. |

| Summary, etc. | أصبحت مسألة النمو الشامل محورًا رئيسيًا في أبحاث اقتصاديات التنمية، بهدف تحقيق توزيع واسع لفوائد النمو الاقتصادي عبر مختلف شرائح المجتمع. تتناول هذه الرسالة العوامل الرئيسية المحددة للنمو الشامل، مع تطبيق مصر كدراسة حالة للفترة من 1991 إلى 2025. تم تنظيم البحث في ثلاثة فصول رئيسية. يوضح الفصل الأول الأسس النظرية والمفاهيمية للنمو الشامل، مستعرضًا تطوره في خطابات التنمية، ويفحص التعريفات الأكاديمية والمؤسسية الرئيسية. كما يحدد الفروق بين النمو الشامل والمفاهيم الأخرى المرتبطة بالنمو، بينما يستعرض في الوقت ذاته المناهج الرئيسية التي يتم من خلالها تقييمه.<br/>يستعرض الفصل الثاني تعقيدات النمو الاقتصادي في مصر على مدار الأربعة عقود الماضية، من خلال تحليل التحولات السياسية الرئيسية، والإصلاحات، والقضايا التي أثرت على مسار التنمية في البلاد. ويتم التركيز بشكل خاص على تجربة مصر في تعزيز النمو الشامل، مثل الاستراتيجيات الوطنية والقضايا التي تم مواجهتها في تحقيق نتائج تنموية عادلة.<br/>يقدم الفصل الثالث التحليل التجريبي باستخدام نموذج الانحدار الذاتي الموزع الزمني(ARDL) لتحليل التأثيرات طويلة المدى وقصيرة المدى لعدد من المتغيرات الرئيسية مثل رأس المال البشري، الاستثمار الأجنبي المباشر، الانفتاح التجاري، التضخم، البطالة، النمو السكاني، وعرض النقود الواسع على النمو الشامل.<br/>تُظهر النتائج التجريبية أن رأس المال البشري، والتوسع المالي قد أثرت بشكل إيجابي ومعنوي على النمو الشامل في مصر. في المقابل، كان التضخم، والبطالة، والنمو السكاني تؤثر سلبًا على أداء النمو الشامل. على الرغم من الإصلاحات والسياسات التي تم إدخالها، تشير النتائج إلى أن المشكلات الهيكلية الاقتصادية طويلة الأجل وعدم الكفاءة المؤسسية لا تزال تعيق تحقيق النمو الشامل بشكل كامل. تختتم الرسالة بمجموعة من المقترحات السياسية لتعزيز رأس المال البشري، وتعزيز الشمول المالي، وزيادة استقرار الاقتصاد الكلي، وتحسين أنظمة الحوكمة من أجل خلق مسار تنموي أكثر شمولًا واستدامة في مصر. |
