Developmental dysplasia of the hip (DDH) is a complex <br/>orthopedic condition that affects the growth and development of the hip <br/>joint, often leading to long-term complications such as joint instability, <br/>early osteoarthritis, and functional impairment. In such revision cases, <br/>pelvic osteotomies have emerged as a crucial surgical strategy to restore <br/>joint stability, improve acetabular orientation, and delay or prevent the <br/>progression of degenerative change <br/>Objective: The aim of this meta-analysis is to evaluate and compare the <br/>outcomes of different pelvic osteotomy techniques used in the <br/>management of revision cases of developmental dysplasia of the hip <br/>(DDH). <br/>Patients and Methods: Search strategy and selection criteria Following <br/>the recommendations of the “Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic <br/>Reviews and Meta-Analyses” (PRISMA) in this systematic search resulted <br/>in 447 potential studies; of them, 184 were excluded as duplicates. An <br/>additional 251 studies were excluded after title/abstract screening, and <br/>then 4 studies were excluded after the full-text screening. In the end, we <br/>got eight eligible studies to be included review's quantitative and <br/>qualitative synthesis <br/>Results: Despite the heterogeneity in surgical approaches, most studies <br/>demonstrated favorable clinical and radiologic results, though <br/>complications such as re-subluxation and re -dislocation were noted in <br/>some cases <br/>Conclusion: this review demonstrates that revision pelvic osteotomies <br/>for DDH generally lead to favorable clinical and radiological outcomes, <br/>particularly in restoring acetabular orientation and femoral coverage. <br/>Despite the technical challenges and the potential for complications such <br/>as AVN and re dislocation, many patients achieve satisfactory hip <br/>function and stability following revision surgery.

Summary, etc.	الخلفية: يُعدّ خلل التنسج النمائي للورك حالةً عظميةً معقدةً تؤثر على نمو وتطور مفصل الورك، وغالبًا ما تؤدي إلى مضاعفات طويلة الأمد مثل عدم استقرار المفصل، والتهاب المفاصل المبكر، والقصور الوظيفي. في مثل هذه الحالات التي تتطلب مراجعةً جراحية، برزت عمليات قطع عظم الحوض كاستراتيجية جراحية حاسمة لاستعادة استقرار المفصل، وتحسين توجيه الحُق، وتأخير أو منع تطور التغيرات التنكسية.<br/><br/>الهدف: تهدف هذه الدراسة التحليلية التجميعية إلى تقييم ومقارنة نتائج تقنيات قطع عظم الحوض المختلفة المستخدمة في علاج حالات مراجعة خلل التنسج النمائي للورك.<br/><br/>المرضى والأساليب: استراتيجية البحث ومعايير الاختيار: باتباع توصيات "بنود الإبلاغ المفضلة للمراجعات المنهجية والتحليلات التجميعية" (PRISMA)، أسفر هذا البحث المنهجي عن 447 دراسة محتملة؛ استُبعد منها 184 دراسة لتكرارها. تم استبعاد 251 دراسة إضافية بعد فحص العناوين والملخصات، ثم استُبعدت 4 دراسات أخرى بعد فحص النصوص الكاملة. في النهاية، حصلنا على ثماني دراسات مؤهلة لإدراجها في التحليل الكمي والنوعي للمراجعة.<br/><br/>النتائج: على الرغم من تباين الأساليب الجراحية، أظهرت معظم الدراسات نتائج سريرية وشعاعية إيجابية، مع ملاحظة مضاعفات مثل الانخلاع الجزئي المتكرر والانخلاع الكامل المتكرر في بعض الحالات.<br/><br/>الخلاصة: تُظهر هذه المراجعة أن عمليات قطع عظم الحوض التصحيحية لعلاج خلع الورك الخلقي تؤدي عمومًا إلى نتائج سريرية وشعاعية إيجابية، لا سيما في استعادة توجيه الحُق وتغطية عظم الفخذ. على الرغم من التحديات التقنية واحتمالية حدوث مضاعفات مثل نخر العظم الوعائي والانخلاع الكامل المتكرر، يحقق العديد من المرضى وظيفة واستقرارًا مُرضيين للورك بعد الجراحة التصحيحية.
