| Summary, etc. | Aim: To investigate the thickness of the buccal alveolar bone of maxillary anterior and premolar <br/>teeth in a sample of Egyptian population using Cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) measured <br/>at specific vertical levels along the root apical to the alveolar crest that are important for clinical <br/>procedures <br/><br/> <br/><br/>Materials and Methods: A total of 138 CBCT scans of Egyptian adults aged between 18 to 70 <br/>years were retrospectively analyzed. Labial alveolar bone thickness (LABT) was measured at 1 mm, <br/>3 mm, and 5 mm apical to the alveolar crest for maxillary central and lateral incisors, canines, and <br/>first and second premolars. Data were analyzed using non-parametric statistical tests to assess <br/>associations with age and gender. <br/>Results: The labial bone was generally thinner than 2 mm in the anterior maxilla, particularly <br/>in the lateral incisor region, where bone thickness was frequently <1 mm. | Summary, etc. | ركزت هذه الدراسة على تقييم سماكة العظم السنخي الشفوي في الأسنان الأمامية والضواحك العلوية لدى عينة من السكان المصريين <br/> (CBCT). باستخدام الأشعة المقطعية المخروطية<br/>تم اختيارCBCT نظراً لدقتها العالية في القياسات الخطية، وانخفاض مستوى الإشعاع مقارنة بالأشعة المقطعية التقليدية، وقدرتها<br/>على توفير تصوير ثلاثي الأبعاد ضروري لتخطيط زراعة الأسنان، خاصة في المناطق الأمامية ذات الأهمية الجمالية العالية. <br/>تم قياس سماكة العظم عند ثلاثة مستويات عمودية سريرية مهمة: 1 مم ،3 مم، و5 مم أسفل الحافة السنخية، لكل سن من الأسنان<br/>الأمامية والضواحك. أظهرت النتائج أن معظم القواطع المركزية والجانبية لديها سماكة عظم أقل من 1 مم، مما يشير إلى عدم <br/>كفاية الدعم للزرع الفوري دون تطعيم عظمي. أما الأنياب والضواحك الثانية فقد أظهرت سماكة عظمية أكبر نسبياً، غالباً تتجاوز<br/> .1 مم، مما يجعلها مناطق أكثر ملاءمة لزراعة الأسنان<br/>تتفق هذه النتائج مع دراسات دولية سابقة تشير إلى أن رقة الصفيحة العظمية الوجهية في الفك العلوي الأمامي تمثل تحدياً شائعاً في <br/>زراعة الأسنان. كما أبرزت الدراسة وجود تباين تشريحي بين أنواع الأسنان المختلفة ومستويات القياس، بالإضافة إلى تأثير <br/>عوامل مثل العمر والجنس وموضع الجذر على سماكة العظم. لذلك، فإن التخطيط العلاجي الفردي يعُد ضرورياً لتقليل المخاطر <br/> .وتحقيق نتائج علاجية ناجحة<br/>كأداة تشخيصية فعالة في زراعة الأسنان، خصوصاً في المنطقة الأمامية، لضمان التخطيط CBCT تدعم الدراسة استخدام<br/>الدقيق، وتجنب المضاعفات، وتحقيق نتائج جمالية طويلة المدى. كما أن شمول الضواحك في التقييم، وهي غالباً ما تهُمل في <br/> الدراسات السابقة، يعزز من أهمية دورها في دعم النتائج الجمالية والوظيفية للزرع. |
